📢🐾 Attention Marion County Residents! 🐾📢
We are excited to announce our January Surgery Special, made possible by the ADD County Grant 2024! Thank you, Marion County, for helping us provide essential veterinary care for needy pets and qualified families only.

Here are the details:
🗓️ January Appointments: Four surgery days available for both dogs and cats. This is for NEW appointments only. Previously scheduled appointments can not be changed.
📅 Appointments Open: Monday January 6th at 8am.
💰 Payment: Please have $20 ready to secure your appointment. This non-refundable, non-transferable scheduling fee will be required at the time of booking.
⚠️ Additional Services: No funds will be due on the day of surgery unless you choose to add extra services not included in the ad above. Servicing includes microchip space/neuter cone medicine and vaccines.

Important Reminders:
✔️ Marion County Residency: Participants must be Marion County residents.
✔️ Proof of Residency: Bring a utility bill (electric, gas, phone, water, trash, internet) in the name of the person scheduling and bringing the animal on the day of surgery.
✔️ Qualifications: we will only be taking qualifying participants who receive government assistance with recent proof.
✔️ Age/weight Limit: This opportunity is only for animals aged 7 and under. We are unable to accommodate dogs that weigh 70 pounds or more for this special.

Dinkus can't wait to find his fur-ever home! He has been at the Humane Society for 1,592 days! Dinkus is 7 years old and weighs 60 pounds. This silly goofball was originally transferred to us on December 10th, 2019, from a local shelter. Dinkus would do best in a home with children over 12, no other animals, and a tall sturdy fence. Despite being picky, Dinkus is loving, smart, and funny! He can't wait to go home for the holidays!

Cyclone has been waiting for his forever home for 627 days! Cyclone came to the Humane Society from a hoarding case in Broward County in early 2023. Cyclone was found living in a house with 60 other dogs in Dania Beach. The dogs were living in extreme, crowded conditions, and were severely under-socialized. The Humane Society of Marion County took in 15 of the dogs, and has worked continuously with patience, time, and training to help socialize them for Adoption. Cyclone's siblings have been Adopted, and he is still waiting for his fur-ever family!

Cyclone is almost 7 years old and weighs 50 pounds. Despite being out of the hoarding situation, he is still fearful and shy. Cyclone becomes less-anxious every day. He truly is very loving once you take the time to bond and get to know him. Cyclone's namesake came from his happy dance where he spins in circles. Our sweet boy, is good with cats and dogs. He has never known a good home and deserves to have one the second time around. He will need a family that is understanding of his circumstances and is willing to spend time working with him. If you want to be his hero please come meet him!

Ink has been at the shelter for 555 days! He is 4 and a half years old and weighs 71 pounds. Ink came to the Humane Society of Marion County in June of 2023 as a stray. He did have a microchip, but unfortunately, his former fur-parents never came to our shelter to take him back home. This friendly and playful boy needs a second chance at a good home. He might be shy at first but, warms up pretty quickly. He does not do well with children and would prefer to be the only animal in the home. He does not like to share the love. He is very handsome, affectionate, and an all-around good boy. Ink is looking forward to finding his true forever home.
