Hello everybody, we hope you are all doing well! We will be closing at 5 today to be able to get started a little earlier with some family trick or treating time. Also we will be opening a little late tomorrow (Friday November 1st) our hours will be 1:00 - 7:00. Also don’t forget aquashella aquarium festival is in Daytona this weekend, we will be in attendance on Sunday!

UPDATE: WE ARE CLOSED 10/10/2024 (THIRSDAY) DUE TO HURRICANE MILTON. WE WILL REOPEN FRIDAY 10/11/2024 AT 11am.

Hello, we will remain open for the remainder of the day with our normal hours 10-6 .We will not be recieving feeder fish this week due to the storm and traffic cutting off possibility for delivery. We will be closed this Wednesday for the storm and at this time we are unsure about Thursday, we will post an update about reopening time. Take this time to prepare your home and check in on your neighbors and loved ones to make sure they are prepared as well. We have a couple dual battery backup airpumps left in stock. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

Hello there, we hope everybody is prepared for the upcoming storm. Just wanted to share a few quick tips for keeping your aquarium healthy if you lose power.

-Prior to the storm do a 25-30 percent water change, make sure to gravel vac any debris in the tank. This will ensure water quality and oxygen levels are as best as possible.

-Do not feed fish for 24 hours, during the storm or if the power goes out. I know we all care and think feeding them is a good thing but during this time we need pristine water quality. Feeding your tank will cause ammonia levels to rise as well as oxygen levels to drop during a power outage.

-If possible use a battery operated air pump or some source of external power to run your filters. If you are not able to I would recommend that you use a pitcher and collect water from the top of the tank and pour it back in from about two feet above the surface. This surface agitation will help with oxygen exchange. Do this every few hours.

Hurricane Helene update:

We are closed tomorrow (Thursday 09.26.2024). We hope everyone stays safe! We will evaluate after the storm and hopefully will be able to open normal hours Friday. Please watch the page for updates as long as we have power/internet. That said, please see my previous post regarding fish care pre storm.

Hello everybody, we have an emergency happening this morning with one of our family pets and he has to be seen by a vet this will cause us to open later than usual today. We will make it in as soon as possible! We will post an update as soon as we can, thank you!

Hello everybody the next two Friday’s have a schedule change at the shop due to personal reasons, This Friday August 23rd the hours will be 3:00-7:00, Friday August 30th the shop will be CLOSED, all other days and hours will remain the same. Thank you everybody for your continued support!!!

The newest addition into the shop is our new betta display, right up front where they belong. Bettas deserve much more respect then typically given. All of our bettas displayed will also come with the piece of Anubias they are displayed with, this is to assure comfort in there new homes!! Spread the word!!!

Some awesome looking 8-10 inch arowana just got into the shop! Will be quarintined until august 30th!

I walked into the shop this morning and this tank was looking beautiful, I had to share. These Gorder River rainbows are a stunning display fish!

We just got in some awesome, customer bred betta!!! They are just over a month old!!! Only 3.99 each for males and females!!!

Just put more fish in the $10 dollar sale tank, don’t miss out!!! Sale end at the end of the day Saturday. If you want more then 4 they’ll be at $8 each!!!!

Deal of the day!!! All peacock and hap cichlids in this tank, 2.5-3” and a few larger are on sale for 10 bucks a piece!!! What a deal!
