We are all good at the barn after Milton. 🌀 Power went out about 9 PM and the generator is running full force this am. All the horses were stoked to be outside in the cooler weather the morning! 🐎
The outside horses had a lovely little hotel stay thanks to Elizabeth Pagan booking them rooms across town 😀

Made it through Helene 🌀 safe but not unscathed! Unfortunately big tree down on power line in driveway. Horses, dogs, cats and donkey all happy and it's a gorgeous day to clean up branches.
Still no power but the generator is working overtime so we have water and lights in the barn.
Surprised the power company hasn't shown up to take care of the line on the ground, because we definitely aren't touching it 😅

Thank you to Longwood Arenas and Joe for the incredible upkeep of our dressage arena! 🤩
After the tornado came through the farm and an arena mirror shattered in the ring, Joe immediately reached out to us to see what he could do to help. They are not only getting the glass out but laser grading it to perfection 👌
We love that they are committed to the longevity of use of this amazing arena! 😎
