Paw-sitively exciting news! 🐾 We're breaking ground on our new animal shelter tomorrow! Can't wait to see our furry friends have a purr-fect new home. 🏠 This state-of-the-art facility will provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for animals in need.
But first, here is a quick video outlining everything our teams have done to get here! Thank you to all who have supported our teams, our volunteers, and our shelter throughout the years!

👉Remember this guy we posted a couple of months ago? He's still here at MCAS, waiting for his person.
Since this post, Chaise has learned to ride on a paddleboard and other cool things! 🏄♂️☀️
Prior troublemaker, Chaise, was very recently promoted to Office Intern when his teammates determined that his naughty ways were most likely a product of his environment.
Since he’s been given these new duties, Chaise seems to have a new purpose in life. Though it is very early in his tenure, we’ve decided that a Performance Evaluation may assist him in moving forward on his next promotion, into a home!
✏️Attendance – 8/10 – although always present, Chaise is occasionally tardy to meetings that he doesn’t find interesting.
🖊️Initiative – 6/10 – much like his attendance, Chaise does an amazing job when he’s excited about a project. However, when he isn’t, there is room for improvement in team participation on less desirable projects. He also doesn’t care for the printer, which is sadly a larger portion of his job responsibilities.
✏️Attitude Toward Assignment – 0/10 – Chaise makes his feeling abundantly clear through his facial expressions; his team members have occasionally commented as though they feel “judged” by Chaise and wish him to be more open-minded to their opinions. Meetings can sometimes become derailed by Chaise’s attendance and inability to keep his boredom to himself.
🖊️Lunch Buddy – 10/10 – Chaise is always the first one to join in team lunches, and is pretty flexible to all kinds of food and cookies.
✏️Customer Service – 9/10 – Chaise is great at immediately greeting people, though sometimes his manners get the best of him and he can be a little intimidating since he is on the larger size of the doggo spectrum.
🖊️Safety Culture – 10/10 – Chaise is very attuned to his surroundings and will offer up a big-dog-bark if he has any concerns about potential trespassers. Someti

Now calling all heroes! We urgently need Storm Trooper families to take home some of our adoptable dogs to ride out the storm. Supplies will be provided.
