Midge(the foster pup) made a friend last night at Petco! Thank you to Chrissy and her family for giving Midge lots of love and puppy food, toys and her very own collar! Kind hearts and donations help us to continue the work we do! Thanks Chrissy for helping us Reach for the Stars!

Say hello to Midge. She was found on the side of the road beside 3 of her brothers/sisters who were hit and no mamma in sight. We believe she is a possible pit/mastif cross and about 6 weeks old. Midge will be available for adoption through the Humane Society of Marion County after she receives shots, worming, and a spay.

Hello friends! Reaching for the Stars needs your help! Reaching for the Stars strives to provide low to no cost service animals to those in need! For those of you who don't know, most service animals programs require at least a 2 year wait list and approximately $25,000 in "fundraising" in order to be eligible. By the time many individuals get to the point of needing a service animal they and their families have exhausted their financial resources. Unfortunately this can prohibit individuals from having this life saving animal. At Reaching for the Stars we work to lower that financial burden and also the extensive waiting period. Tack Shack of Ocala, Inc is having their Tack Shack's Famous Horsey Yard Sale tomorrow and Sunday. Come see Procyon Training as we try to raise money for for our non-profit organization to train our dogs and miniature horses for those in need. We gave our set up a dry run before our big day tomorrow. Come and meet Honey the Mini Service Horse, Parley The Miniature Service Horse, and Service Dog in training Echo.
