The pads are made of soft neoprene, designed for comfort against soft, delicate tissue, and are designed for use under a standing wrap. Let’s talk hock sores….

Sores, crusts or scabs around the hock area are common in horses. They are often caused by abrasion from hard, dry ground and lack of soft bedding, but can also be caused by direct trauma like kicks from other horses. And they are also a PAIN TO KEEP CLEAN AND HEAL UP.

Combined with some soft, bedding and proper care, our hope is that the Hock Fly Go boot will be the answer to helping you heal those hocks!

The Knee Boot is almost here! 🤩

Heal shield was developed over 3 years by equestrian Melanie Davies after a friend's horse was suffering from summer sores located in hard to bandage places – the knee and the coronet band. Summer Sores are stubborn, slow-healing lesions that love to attract flies. It can be expensive to buy supplies to keep any summer sore covered, let alone those that pop up in tricky places.
