ABOUT MELISSA BELL'S RESCUE....

Our mission here at Melissa Bell's Rescue, Inc, is to trap and transport community and unowned cats to and from sterilization surgery. Our focus of support is primarily intended for underserved individuals and families in Marion County and the surrounding areas when possible. We provide rescue and TNR services, along with kitten foster care as an additional source of support for organizations in need of fosters!

The PAW Chili Challenge & Hub-Cat Car Show is TOMORROW!!! That means we spent today staging and preparing for the event. We have awesome chili's for the tasting, some sweet rides competing for TWENTY trophies, a mega raffle with all kinds of goodies, premium baked goods for sale, a variety of food trucks, free face painting, and for the kiddos a few inflatable play places! Hopefully our feline friend doesn't get the bounce houses first!

Last night we had a great time while paying a visit to the VOCAL Youth Council! It's their first year competing in the PAW Chili Challenge, and it only felt proper to lend them some help! We can't wait to see what their group brings to the table during tomorrow's celebration! !!

IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!! With the PAW Chili Challenge & Hub-Cat Car Show just 48 hours away, we are still getting questions about participating in the event! Here's the scoop:

VENDORS:
Registration for Vendors closes TONIGHT at Midnight! This will be an awesome opportunity to sell your goods & services to a diverse audience. If you would like to be a vendor at our event, please complete your registration online at the site listed below. The fee is $50! If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. As we make final preparations for staging the event, we need to know if we should save you space to do your thing!

COOKS:
If you want to compete in the Chili Cook-Off, entry into the "OPEN" category is available to any individual or business. The entry fee is $20, and it will require that you bring at minimum two gallons of your chili to be both served and judged in the competition. CUT-OFF time for Chili Cook registration is tonight at MIDNIGHT! Please complete the registration form by following the link below, and contact [email protected] with any questions.

CAR SHOW:
Car Show participants may register their vehicle during the day of the event. JUDGING begins at 11am, so all entries must be present and registered by 10:30am. The registration fee is $20 per a vehicle, and this fee will be collected during the day of the event. Check-In starts at 9am this Saturday, and we already plan on seeing some of you early!!!
