I had read several times here lately.... people asking how you afford regular maintenance on unicorns…not emergency colic…no major injuries.... just basic injections etc…

Some folks had some fun ideas…my personal favorite was selling plasma…
….but the real honest answer…the not fun one is…you don’t go..…Take a few weeks off!

That $200 or more you would have spent in fuel
…..goes in the vet fund
$50 EF…
…..vet fund
That $20 a run supplement
….vet fund
Flair strips
…vet fund
Money you would have spent at either the concession stand or the bar depending on the day……vet fund. Nails done? No. Out to dinner, that Starbucks coffee.

I would be willing to bet…in less then 60 days your vet fund would cover your vet cost and you could keep your financial freedom. Make sure you are adding value to your life…not just expenses.
