Titan is a playful, outgoing tabby kitten who we rescued from a high kill shelter in Tampa. He arrived at the shelter sick and with scabies and was at high risk of being put down. They thought he was a girl and named him Elektra. We rescued him and immediately got him treated for his scabies and sniffles and look at him now! He is as good as new! He is affectionate, loves other cats, and is litter box trained. He will make a great addition to almost any home! He is available for adoption near Ocala or we can deliver him to you for a fee within 3 hours of Ocala. Message us to adopt! 🐾❤️🦩🌴

Birch is an adorable, tiny, fluffy kitten! We rescued him from the Tampa shelter a couple weeks ago. He’s a little sniffly, but he’s been getting better every day with antibiotics. He’s about 8 weeks old and he should be ready for adoption in about 2 weeks!

Big blue is a handsome Siamese seal point kitty who is neutered, vaccinated, litter box trained, and friendly. He has FIV, but that is not a big deal! He can live a full, healthy life if kept away from sick cats and stressful situations. His adoption fee is half off to help find him a loving home! He can be picked up near Ocala or we can drive him to you for a fee within 3 hours of Ocala. Message us to adopt! 🐾❤️🦩🌴

Happy Halloween! 🎃 There will be no trick-or-treating for us tonight! Sweet Patches needs to be fed and watered through his feeding tube every 2 hours, along with various pains meds and antibiotics several times a day, which is quite intensive when paired with our bottle babies and other medical cases we have in our care. But we don’t mind and are so grateful that our amazing vet and surgeon were able to save his life! Patches needs kitten formula, Royal Canin Mother and Baby Cat food, and donations to help pay the remaining $400 on his vet bill. Please donate if you can! ❤️🐾🦩🌴🎃

*Update!* Sweet kitten Patches who was violently kicked in the face by an evil man, which broke his jaw and split his tounge nearly in half, is now on his way home after life saving surgery! Thank you those who donated! We still need just over $400 to finish paying the vet bill. Our paypal is: [email protected]

*PLEASE HELP!* We just finished up our vet visit with sweet Patches. We were able to meet with our awesome vet and surgeon, and they are going to do everything they can to save Patches and get him on the road to healing. We have an estimate of $1,000 for his treatment and surgery, which is thanks to a big discount from our vet who understands we are a nonprofit rescue with limited means. Without this discount, the cost could easily be double. He is getting hospitalized, will have IV fluids, IV antibiotics, pain injections, blood tests, X-rays, and then surgery. Please donate if you can! No amount is too small. With this generous discount from our vet and donations from kind people like you, we are going to give Patches the best chance to survive and heal! Please share! Thank you! 🐾❤️🌴🦩🍊🎃

Look at this beautiful kitty we just took in! Crystal is a stunning, 6 month old, slightly fluffy blue lynx point kitten. She is friendly, litter box trained, and lived with children. Unfortunately, her family’s landlord made them get rid of her, so she is now looking for a new home. She can be picked up near Ocala or for a fee we can deliver her within 3 hours of the Ocala area. Please message us to adopt! ❤️🐾🌴🦩🍊🎃

We saw a Facebook post tonight from a family in rural Marion County who had this kitten come up to them after a man kicked him in the face with a steel toed boot, breaking this poor kitten’s jaw. The family is very poor and could not afford to bring the kitten to the vet and we seemed to be his only hope to get treatment. So, we drove out and picked up the kitten and brought him back to our rescue. It was easy to see upon looking inside his mouth that the front of his jaw is broken in half, with the bone sticking out. He cannot eat or drink. So we gave him a strong dose of Kitty pain medication, antibiotics, and subcutaneous fluids to keep him comfortable through the overnight. He will be going to our vet first thing in the morning. Hopefully they can do something for him. It is typically very difficult to treat cats with broken jaws because you can’t exactly wire the jaw shut and have the cat drink through a straw like you can with humans. But hopefully there is something our vet can do to treat him and give him a second chance at life. We don’t have the funds to pay for a major vet bill right now, so if you can donate to help us get surgery for sweet kitten Patches, we would be grateful! 🐾❤️

Calling all seal point lovers! Blue and Charles came to us recently from different situations where their owners could no longer keep them. Both kitties are about 2 years old, neutered, vaccinated, FeLV negative, and FIV positive. They are friendly boys who are litter box trained and well-behaved. They have had prior adopters cancel on them because of their FIV status, but don’t let that scare you away! FIV is not the death sentence they used to think it was! FIV is only spread to other cats through deep bite wounds, and these neutered boys are calm and extremely unlikely to bite anyone. FIV kitties can live long, normal lives when provided a clean indoor environment where they are not exposed to sick cats. These boys would do best in homes with minimal noise and no young children. If you would like to adopt one or both of these handsome kitties, please message us! They can be picked up near Ocala or for an additional fee we can drive them to you within a 3 hour drive of Ocala. Their adoption fee is reduced due to their FIV status. 🐾❤️🌴🦩

*Clearwater!* This kitty’s owner died and he needs a home or foster ASAP! Adoption fee waived to good home!

Message from the family: husband's aunt died at the Regency Oaks in Clearwater, FL yesterday. We live in the northeast and cannot take him home with us. Due to the hurricanes, the local agencies have told us they are closed for adoption.

He's a senior (14 years old) and would be great in a quiet home with no other animals; He was Aunt Phyllis's favorite companion- he is a Seal-point male -- all medical records are up to date and available. He is already sad and knows something terrible has happened to his owner. My sister in law leaves for PA on Saturday morning.

If you can foster or adopt sweet Mocha, please let us know! ❤️🐾🌴🦩

The Puerto Rico Attorney General, the police, and others we are suing continue to hide and evade service of process because they are SCARED! And they should be. We rescued Acorn, an adorable Russian blue kitten, from a high kill shelter several days ago. They were going to euthanize him because he was having seizures almost nonstop. We drove 100 miles to pick him up and for the first few days we had him he was having seizures all day long. We gave him two different seizure medications prescribed by the vet and now after several days, he has finally stopped having seizures! we have not observed a single seizure in 24 hours! Hopefully he is cured of his seizures and on his way to recovery! It is likely he was either poisoned or had head trauma that caused the seizures. He is the sweetest kitten and we hope he makes a full recovery soon! ❤️🐾🌴🦩

Our President and Founder, Erica Erickson, was recently invited to speak as an expert on feral cat colonies by renowned news anchor and animal advocate, Jacey Birch of Miami local 10 News. The story is about the million feral and stray cats that live in South Florida and how to get the population under control. Hint: the solution is spay /neuter! Check it out! 🐾❤️🌴🦩🍊🎃

As feral cat populations surge across South Florida, communities clash over feeding practices and solutions. Animal advocates stress the need for unity and spaying/neutering programs to curb the issue.

We rescued these 4 little boy kittens today from a high kill shelter where their time had run out. They are all adorable, friendly, and now they have a second chance at the good life they deserve! The little orange boy has scabies and the others have sniffles, but we will get them fixed up and ready for adoption soon! If you would like to reserve one for adoption, please let us know! Otherwise, if you can donate towards their care we would be grateful! ❤️🐾🌴🦩🍊🎃
