We offer many different types of surgical procedures to our clients, but we wanted to do a quick overview view of what one of those procedures are! 👨⚕️
Mako was seeing Dr.Bailey to be neutered. We have a series of steps we do before ok’ing patients for anesthesia. It is also a group effort from start to finish, so you’ll see our surgical tech’s, assistants, Dr.Bailey, and our personal cheerleader!
*Every pet must have pre-op bloodwork, and reviewed by the veterinarian. 📈
*Then the veterinarian on schedule will do a pre-op exam, to ensure we didn’t miss anything. 🥼
*Once all is approved by the veterinarian the technicians will place an IV catheter, set up the surgical suite, prepare the medications needed for the procedure, (and approved by the veterinarian), , prepare the anesthesia machines, take vitals, and so much more. 🩺
*Once the patient is prepped for surgery the technicians will transfer the patient into surgery, make a sterile field for the vet, and monitor vitals throughout the procedure. 🩻
*Once the procedure is done the technician will continue to monitor your pet until their vitals are back to normal and are sitting up properly. 🐶
We know how important it is to keep your pets safe through all anesthesia procedures, and we are always here to help explain the procedure and what to expect.

We hit the jack pot today and got to love on, we mean examine, two sphinx’s! We absolutely love this cat breed, and these two were so precious! Dr.Sinclair has a real soft spot for them.
We often miss annual visits with cats because they’re cats and they’re believed to be low maintenance. Getting your cats, with or without hair, into the vet’s annually is very important to closely monitor their health through the years. Dr. Sinclair is a great resource when determining normal vs. abnormal, daily care, or any questions you may have.

Bella is doing her happy run after getting groomed!
Bella was recently adopted and had extreme matting especially around her feet. Terry, our groomer, was able to clean her right up and give her the opportunity to run without any mats weighing her down any longer! She will return in a few weeks to start giving her a regular doodle groom.
🐩 Doodles are a common breed that need regular grooming to prevent matting. Any dog with long coats, not easy to brush through, or thick coats should be seen by your groomer.
🦴Believe it or not matting can cause extreme pain to your pets and cause irritation to their skin.
🧴 Medicated baths, medicated wipes, eat flush are a great alternative for pets with skin allergies.
✴️ Fun fact! Did you know skin is the largest organ! So it is very important to keep care of your pets skin.
