AAHA is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. Approximately 15% or 3,000 AAHA-accredited hospitals exist and voluntarily choose to be evaluated on 900 standards in the following areas: quality of care, diagnostic and pharmacy,

management, medical records, and facility. Consultants regularly visit these hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA’s Standards of Accreditation for services and facilities. We have some exciting news! We have officially gone live with Vetsourcer for our online pharmacy! You will still go to our online pharmacy link as usual, but it will have a different look to it. Canine Influenza AKA Dog Flu
Transmitted through direct contact with other dogs, cough or sneeze from infected dog, and through contaminated surfaces/clothing.
This vaccine is offered in our clinic and is a once a year vaccine. If it is your pets first time receiving this vaccine it will need to be boostered in 3-4 weeks.

Zazu just confirmed, underbites are still adorable! Dr. Sinclair was lucky enough to do Zazu’s semi annual exam, and give him a diagnosis of “The most handsome boy”! We still have plenty of openings to see your pets, and answer any questions you may have about their health!

It is kitten season and we are being spoiled with all of the new kitten exams! You can’t help, but to love them! As important as first kitten visits are it is equally as important to bring your cats in at least once a year for their annual. Even if they are a little nervous to come see us we have plenty of ways to help keep them calm and happy during their visit, even if that includes hanging out in the sink. We love cats of all ages, and are happy to care for them through every life stage!

We wanted to give a shout out to Shaggy for officially being heartworm negative as of today! Wooo!!!! He was heartworm positive as of last year and he had to go through a long treatment here with us. One year later he is officially heartworm negative!
If you have questions or concerns about heartworm and your pet please feel free to reach out to us and our knowledgeable staff would be happy to get those answers for you! Of course we have prevention in office for your pets as well!

It’s HOT out there! Remember our furry friends during this time of the year and be aware of their breathing, exhaustion, panting, and gum color. Here are some fun things to do at home to keep your pet cool

Ice cubes with fruit in them, blueberries are great!
Splash pads at home
Full water bowls at all times
Walk and exercise in the morning and evening.
Make appointments with your groomer for proper cuts or deshedding treatments!
