Elvis xc
Elvis is perhaps overprepared for beginner novice this weekend. He hasn’t done cross country since Fall but was quite game this morning!
Elvis hasn’t been out all Summer but was super today at the Majestic Oaks schooling jumper show. Getting ready for WEC and his first horse trials this Winter!!!
Day 4: Sorry for another CapCut with cheesy music but Lizzie helps me put these together and it is the best way to get lots of video clips on here! We had a fun day! 10 kids today for course day…most are afraid to jump, some just started riding, and I am so proud of all them (and these saints they got to ride)! If you watch closely, Julia decided to join in today. She hasn’t ridden in nearly a year and had a great time!
Don’t Be Cruel .80 WEC
Elvis was a star this week, his first time showing at WEC. I’ve only had him a few months and he is quite green but he learned so much and I could really feel a difference in his way of going today. He jumped a clean round, clean jump off (not sure how 10a stayed up but it did), and finished third today 👏🏼 😁
Vital-first cross country schooling
Vital-7 year old, 16.1 hand (and big bodied) tb gelding. Just started his post track training. Nice event horse or jumper prospect. Did first xc schooling yesterday and he was fantastic. Mid fours-price will increase with training.
Gus
Update: Gus found a home! Thank you everyone for all of the interest and shares!
We have a unique situation-looking to find a forever home for Gus, an older chestnut tb gelding. It is hard to read his tattoo, but we think he is 19 (could be 23). He is just over 16 hands. He was pulled from a kill pen about 3 years ago and hasn’t had much done with him. Owner’s health sadly forcing her to find him a new home. I got on and rode him around my farm and he was alert but quite smart and sensible. He didn’t even spook at my neighbor’s pigs that were running around. He is sound. I think he will bond with someone and make a nice trail/pleasure horse or could just be a companion horse. I do have video of him working in the arena and trotting over poles. He needs a special situation and some tlc as he is still thin and a little anxious on the ground when not with his buddy he shipped here with. Small adoption fee and rescue contract required to help keep him from ending up back in a bad place. This guy deserves a good home. Please share!
Sweezy cross-country
So nice to have She’s My Valentine back out on the cross country course today. I have been showjumping too much lately and need to find another gear but Sweezy was perfect this morning! Thank you, Majestic Oaks Ocala Farm for keeping your course and footing in fabulous shape and allowing us to come school!
Sunnydale Girl xc
Buffy is not just a showjumper anymore. This horse LOVED her first xc outing today! Didn’t hesitate at banks, ditch, or water and really enjoyed having a canter around the BN/N course! Someone needs to snatch her up before I keep this one for myself!
Sunnydale girl .85 WEC
New sale horse, Buffy (6 yo tb mare), jumping around at WEC last week! This talented young horse is going to make someone wanting to be competitive in the jumper ring a super nice partner! Please contact us for more details!
Fun with Oskar
Dressage show this morning with Luna and cross country school this afternoon with my Winter ladies to prepare for the season. Video of Coco and Oskar having fun!
Saki 1.0m
On site lease available. Saki is a 19 year old Holsteiner mare with loads of experience in eventing through preliminary and jumpers up to 1.30m. She is available to lease this season to the right rider. I would prefer she stay in the 1.0m (or lower) classes. She is not for beginners or timid amateurs as she can be enthusiastic but she is very well schooled and so much fun to jump and show! This is a very special horse so will have to stay in my care but I’d be open to another trainer coming here or I am happy to help someone with her.
