A new study indicates that ethical dilemmas in equine sports medicine are prevalent enough to be "concerning" to governing bodies. The main issue noted by 97 respondents to a survey cited conflict of interest when balancing the horse’s health and welfare with client wishes for the horse to compete.

We are excited to announce our August Surgery Special, made possible by the ADD County Grant 2024! Thank you, Marion County, for helping us provide essential veterinary care for needy pets.
Here are the details:
🗓️ August Appointments: Four surgery days available for both dogs and cats. This is for NEW appointments only. Previously scheduled appointments can not be changed.
📅 Appointments Open: July 15th
💰 Payment: Please have $20 ready to secure your appointment. This non-refundable, non-transferable scheduling fee will be required at the time of booking.
⚠️ Additional Services: No funds will be due on the day of surgery unless you choose to add extra services not included in the ad above.
Important Reminders:
✔️ Marion County Residency: Participants must be Marion County residents.
✔️ Proof of Residency: Bring a utility bill (electric, gas, phone, water, trash, internet) in the name of the person bringing the animal on the day of surgery.
✔️ Age Limit: This opportunity is only for animals aged 7 and under.
