Introducing our lovable Love Bug, Red Robin! This handsome fellow is a charming feline who has captured the hearts of everyone at the Humane Society of Ocean City. Though we're unsure of his exact age, we believe he’s between 1 to 3 years old and is ready to find his forever home!Red Robin’s journey began as a stray, where he initially showed signs of being a bit shy. However, thanks to a compassionate woman who fed him, Red Robin was brought to us, and it didn’t take long for him to start warming up. His transformation into a cuddle bug has been a joy to witness! This affectionate kitty is fond of his treats and is becoming increasingly comfortable in his new environment. He has started to show off his playful side, bringing smiles to our faces. Red Robin would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention, so we recommend a household without other cats or dogs. He’s the type of guy who just wants to be by your side, napping on your lap and enjoying your company. If you’re looking for a loving companion to share your life with, Red Robin is your guy! Come meet him at the Humane Society of Ocean City, and let this sweet Love Bug steal your heart!
Today, we’re excited to reintroduce you to our adorable little guy named Henry! This sweet puppy is about 4 months old and is full of energy and love.Henry was recently adopted, but unfortunately, he was returned just a week later. This brings us to an important topic: the commitment involved in adopting a puppy. Puppies like Henry are a lot of work! They require constant training, socialization, and, of course, plenty of playtime.Puppies are not just cute companions; they need guidance, love, and structure to grow into well-behaved adults. If you’re considering adopting a puppy, be prepared for the energy and effort it takes to train and engage with them every day.We understand that the responsibilities of having a puppy might not be for everyone, and that’s perfectly okay! But if you believe you can provide a loving and active environment, Henry is here waiting for his forever home. He’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into the right family. If you think you have what it takes to be a puppy parent and provide Henry with the care he needs, come visit us at the Humane Society of Ocean City! Let’s give this lovable pup the second chance he deserves!

This weeks pet of the week is Jovi! This sweet girl was brought to us because her and her brother were abandoned by someone’s house on mischief night :( This hasn’t broken her spirit at all though. She is a very vocal loving cat that loves to be held and cuddled. You can always tell she’s happy when she does her little dance stepping in place with her back feet and shaking her tail. Jovi is definitely a fan favorite and a staff favorite and she shouldn’t be here for long with that cute face. If your looking for a cuddle love bug new addition to the family look no further Jovi is the puuuuurrfect cat for you!🐱
After a month of anticipation tonight is the night!! Of course Eddie is all ready and waiting with milk and cookies for Santa!🎅🏼🎁🎄☃️❤️🐶🐱
Eddie’s really starting to create some mischief! He snuck into the kitchen and stole our rice crispy treats! ❗️❗️It looks like he also took the time to make a snow man out of them. ☃️He better clean up before the dogs or cats hear about food on the floor 😜
For this weeks pet of the week we wanted to do something special and have all four of our dogs be pet of the week this week! Duke, Gunner, Tuttie and Jasper. These four dogs have been with us for a while, some a bit longer by a few years but they all have one thing in common and that’s the gratitude they show to us here at HSOC. All these dogs want is to be loved and have a home for the holidays but until they find their furever homes, they will always have that loving home feeling here with us. And no matter how big or small, we can always tell how much it means to them. We hope they see just how much they mean to all of us. Thank you for always supporting the HSOC Happy Holidays!
