Welcome to The Swamp Park & Outdoor Center! Take a majestic tour and explore the ecological benefits of this natural environment or indulge in one of our many action activities we have on hand. You can choose from one of our three fun-filled activities or maybe do them all! Experience the area with our guided 10 line Zipline tours, climb on the Aerial Adventure Park, or relax and enjoy the Shallotte River on our Swamp Boat Tour. For the more adventurous, climb to the top of the Main Tower and step off the Pelican Dive. It is sensational! Visitors take in a variety of natural sights and sounds that encompass this beautiful region. This is the perfect combination of adventure seeking and ecological education. With something for all ages, these spectacular adventures and breathtaking views are all here waiting for you! NEW for 2016 we have our mile long Riverwalk trail. This is a self guided trail that is an added value to one of your paid adventures. Mosey down the raised walkway and take in the sights and sounds of an untouched Carolina swamp land. Don’t forget your turtle food, we have lots of turtles that hang around in our natural estuary. Just interested in the trail? No problem, your $10 admission goes directly to our Alligator relocation project and the conservation of all of our swamp life. LIVE GATORS, that’s right folks, we have 11 american alligators that we are honored to provide a safe home for. As a part of our continued commitment to outdoor education we have a 3000 square foot reptile sanctuary that houses our rescued critters. Come and learn the prehistoric history of our reptilian friends.
