Today we met up with Charlie and his mom to address major pulling when he is on his way to his favorite place, THE BEACH! Once his harness and leash were on he would pull his mom across the street and all the way to the beach. We began implementing a heel position using string cheese as the motivator and as you can see, Charlie hasn’t pulled once! Charlie is now learning a new skill and we are also creating a new conditioned emotional response to his harness and leash.
