UPDATE July 22: Vandegrift Blvd construction is now complete and passable by all traffic. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

NOTICE OF FULL LANE CLOSURE, VANDEGRIFT BLVD AT STUART MESA & ASH RD INTERSECTION

Beginning July 9 through July 22, ALL lanes of Vandegrift Boulevard south of the Stuart Mesa & Ash Road intersection will be closed. There will be no passage via Vandegrift Boulevard to the north side of the Stuart Mesa and & Ash Road intersection. Access to the Commissary, MCX and other businesses are still open, the construction will occur only at the intersection described. The lanes will remain closed 24/7 until project completion. Expect significant delays. The use of alternative gates is recommended. Telework is recommended upon command approval. See map for detour for base access beyond the intersection. Cyclists are not authorized to use detour.

Happy 4th of July weekend! As you enjoy this time with your family and friends, don't forget about your furry friends. This is one of the worst weekends of the year for lost pets. Make sure each pet has their IDs on, gates are closed, and they're as comfortable as possible. Enjoy!

***UPDATE ON OPERATIONS***
We apologize for delays in our operations. The whole of the Army Veterinary Corps has been doing our best despite some serious issues with our records/scheduling/charging system. At this time, due to personnel shortages and ongoing technical issues, we will be closed for the week of 7-11 DEC. If you have appointments scheduled this week, we will be contacting you to reschedule as soon as we possibly can. Please know that we are doing our very best to get to everyone calling and sending in prescriptions. We deeply appreciate your understanding as we work through these many challenges. We will continue to update you all here. Stay safe and healthy!

Just friendly reminder: while your dog may look at you with those puppy eyes asking for some Thanksgiving feast, it may not be good to give in and feed them our yummy food. Be mindful that feast related mishaps can result in a complicated trip to the emergency vet.

Good morning Camp Pendleton! We are experiencing system outages and are doing our best to answer your messages and prescription requests. Unfortunately, we need our system to schedule appointments and prescribe medications so please bear with us as we work to get our system functional again. **Update on hours**
The Camp Pendleton VTF will be closing at 1600 on Wednesday, November 25th and remain closed for Thanksgiving Day as our staff celebrate with their families. We will reopen with scheduling and prescription capabilites on Friday, November 27th at 0800 and reopen with full operations on Tuesday, December 1st.

As we enter into this holiday season, please remember that some yummy foods might not be good for your furry friends. Watch those turkey bones that smell like the best chew toys ever - they can be deadly treats. Keep your holidays happy and your pets healthy!

Good afternoon furry friends and pet parents! Please be aware we are not scheduling any new appointments due to staffing shortages. We are strictly seeing health certificates on occasion, PCS Prep and rabies vaccines. If you have an emergency, sick call or other vaccines are needed please utilize off base clinics. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding! 🐶🐱 🐾

As of 24APR20, the Camp Pendleton Veterinary Treatment Facility is open for business and seeing as first priority appointments for PCS prep, rabies vaccines and puppy/kitten vx series. Other appointments (primarily sick calls and blood testing for preventative/medication refills) will be accommodated as space and time allow. We will also be available again to fulfill in-house prescription requests with at least 72 hours advance notice for controlled drugs and 24 hours advance notice for other medications. We are not scheduling or planning for any Privately-Owned Animal surgeries at this time.

Our hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 0800-1200 and 1300-1600 until further notice.

If you need to request a prescription refill, please place a request through an online pharmacy for us to approve and they will ship the medication to you.
