Citizen pet lovers advocating for the creation of a Dog Beach in Oceanside, California The proposed dog beach at Tower 18 will be an asset to our community.

Our endeavor is supported by thousands of determined residents with many more citizen volunteers joining our effort every day. We need you to sign the petition at OceansideDogBeach.org!!!! Business after dog friendly business will be joining our efforts as well. We are just getting started!

Most beaches in San Diego make some accommodations for dog owners to enjoy the beach. Time-bound, by season, on-leash, etc. Oceanside is one of the most restrictive with NO ACCESS ever. Come to Saturday 2/3 from 9to1 to sign the petition and help us get the 15,000 Oceanside registered voters signature that we need to get this on the ballot in November. We also need volunteers to be there and at Headquarters from 1 to 4 to help with collecting signatures . We can’t do this without help. A BIG THANK YOU to Communal and for your help!

It’s going to take a pack to get to 15,000 signatures on this new petition by Nov 1 and we need help. Oceansidedogbeach.org has a list of opportunities and how to sign up. Want to write? , develop social posts? Plan events? Collect signatures? Help build community? Use it to build your portfolio and skills? There’s so many ways to contribute to making this happen. So many people think they already signed a petition, but this one is new and it’s to get it on the ballot for all of Oceanside to vote on So please help us out and share the word. THANK YOU.

Signature Saturday AND Sunday this week will be at the South Strand - at 518 S the Strand from 12-4p. We need volunteers to come out and have some fun meeting people walking by and doing “Drive-by” signings! It will be a nice weekend, and we need you to hang out and get some sigs. Stay for the sunset and there should be a nice low tide! Bring your pups and we will get some cool drone videos of you all having fun on the beach and you can post to your social media!
