Happiest first Birthday to one of my most favorite little monsters, Arwen, and the rest of the Ozark X Petra litter!🥹🥳💕 Had to give a little throwback today because time is a thief and it makes my heart happy to see this tiny little squish again🥰

I’m so honored Ozark had a piece in creating this beautiful litter! All of his puppies and owners make me so proud! Thank you to all who love and care for these precious pups and allow them to thrive with you!🫶🏻

I was given the opportunity for a brief interview as I prepare for the FCI Mondioring World Championship with my malinois, Goose!

👱🏻‍♀️Amy Kiser
🇺🇸 USA
🐶 Goose des Loups du Lac

What inspired you to start training in Mondioring, and what does it mean to you to compete at the world championship level?

My best friend in high school was getting into dog sports so I started looking into sports too. Around that same time I saw my co-worker training her malinois for mondioring. I started asking her questions about it and she invited me to her mondioring club. The first time I watched them training an object guard had me completely hooked! To now be competing at the world championship 8 years later is like a dream, it doesn’t feel real. I couldn’t be more excited! I’m so grateful for our amazing club, all of the people who inspired me and helped us get here, and my husband/decoy Zack Kiser for seeing the potential in me and coaching me up to this point!

Can you describe the most challenging aspect of preparing for this competition and how you overcame it?

Goose is a very consistent and forgiving dog, so it’s easy for me to become complacent in our training. Attending world championships and having friends who are also competing at FCI this year has really inspired me to be more active and creative in our training! Our club member, Sparky (competing in Cat 2 with Archie), has been a huge inspiration for me; seeing him think outside the box with Archie’s training has made me excited to do the same!

How do you build and maintain a strong bond with your dog, and how does that relationship impact your performance in Mondioring?

Connecting with Goose didn’t come naturally to me at first (he cared far more about the decoys than me😂). Playing with him and finding new ways to interact with him on the field (even without a toy) was huge for us! Knowing I can get him excited about me through play, pets, and wrestling even when a decoy is present has been really positive! Having that connection with him has made me more secure in our relationship so I’m less stressed and can laugh it off when we make mistakes; I can give him a hug and remind myself in those moments that all we can do is go home and train for it. I’m a better handler and he’s more in tune with me because of that!

What are your goals for this championship, and how do you plan to achieve them?

This is our first time competing internationally at category 3, there are some big and far more experienced teams we’re up against- while I would love to make the podium, Goose and I are young, that’s a big ask! My goal is to enjoy our time on the field, not fail any exercises, and earn another qualifying score in our book! If we can do that, I’ll be happy with wherever it leaves us placement wise! My plan is to train often, make sure he’s successful and clear headed in training, and have fun while we prepare!

How do you think Mondioring contributes to the broader understanding and appreciation of working dogs and canine sports?

I think mondioring shows what these powerful dogs are capable of achieving, how well we are able to communicate with them through thoughtful training, and how strong the bond can become between handler and dog when you make these achievements! I see more and more pet owners in the U.S. gaining interest in dog sports and I believe that’s due to the level of team work between dog and handler being easy to see and it’s inspiring.

🩷AVAILABLE🩷 Blossom is a Spicy Girl and that’s all there is to it! Blossom has been a very dominant, driven, and energetic puppy and my IGP helpers favorite of the bunch. She has what I would consider to be average prey drive for a beauceron but she more than makes up for it in attitude. She is bold, self assured, strong in character, and more independent than most beaucerons. Though leaning on the independent side, she still shows affection and has tons of personality. Blossom will provide lots of love and laughs to the right home. She settles well in the home with the proper tools in place for a working bred 5 month old puppy. My IGP Helper and I think she has what it takes to be an impressive IGP Beauceron and she will need a strong handler. While staying with a herding friend of ours she showed sustained interest in sheep, though has not been instinct tested. Initially I held her back to keep for myself, however, Ive decided I’m not quite ready for another sport prospect and want to take more time enjoy Mondioring with Goose, and herding/ showing with Arwen. I would LOVE to see Blossom placed locally (SoCal) in a co-own so she can continue working with my IGP club, but to go to a more all around, capable, experienced sport home further away would be a close second!

💚AVAILABLE💚 Buttercup came out and surprised us all at around 9-10 weeks old! She has always been a sweet, handler oriented puppy from day one, but at a little over two months old she decided she’s ready to party so we made the decision to hang onto her for further evaluation! She has tons of drive across the board and plenty of energy to make use of it. She is our most prey driven puppy in this litter and for that reason it would be my dream to see her in a non-competitive French Ring home to evaluate where that prey drive ends up with maturity and proper cultivation. That being said, I could see this girl excelling in any sport that challenges her mentally and allows her to get her zoomies out on a regular basis. IGP, Agility, AKC Obedience, and other AKC sports could be right up her ally! Buttercup is a huge cuddle bug, however she needs more help settling in the house. I would love to see this girl stay close to home (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Washington) in a Co-Own situation, but that is by no means a requirement! For more info, head to the beauceron litters page of our website and reach out to chat!

‼️Available‼️ Kal (Ozark X Nela) came back to us due to his owner facing unexpected health issues. Thankfully his owner had done right by him every step of the way and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to have him back💕 We’ve had him for about 2 months now and he is absolutely lovely! Everything I hoped for from my first litter; Sporty, confident, balanced, and beautiful🥹 After taking this time to evaluate Kal I feel comfortable pursuing placement for him! Kal is a nearly 1 year old driven, athletic, and pushy beauceron. He takes pressure well, loves to test boundaries, and without question wants a job. We have done a few bitework sessions and I do believe he shows some potential there and would love to see how he progresses in that!🤩 (with the usual disclaimer that beaucerons are not the ideal choice for protection sports and even promising ones face a career long uphill battle) That being said he would also thrive, and could be competitive, in a variety of other sports from dock diving (he LOVES water) to agility to AKC Obedience. My number one priority is that he be happy and fulfilled in whatever home he finds!🥰 If you’re looking for a young beauceron with a stellar temperament to pursue sports/work with, please reach out for more info!

Our last introduction is Blue Collar Boy- “BamBam”💙. I’m not gonna lie guys, BamBam tugs at my heart strings🥹 He is MASSIVE, looks like a little bear cub, and is so so happy to be picked up and snuggled😍 Every time I sit in the whelping box he comes over to find me 🥰🥰

❤️‍🔥Introducing Wildfire’s B litter- “the Cartoons”❤️‍🔥

Our first born and only Harlequin boy wears a green collar just like his daddy Toro- Meet Bandit💚 Bandit is a MOMMAS BOY, he can always be found in the coziest napping spots under Nelas head or between her legs (where her double dews can keep him safe🤣). He wears his heart on his sleeve (he literally has a near perfect heart in his coat pattern) and has a white mark almost identical to Toros- I hope he works like his dad just as much as he looks like him🥰

The last girl and our only harlequin girlie is purple collar/ “Bluey”💜 Bluey is an ACTIVE puppy, she has no problem moving around the whelping box or pushing another puppy out of her way on the milk bar💪🏼 She’s a big snuggle bug though, always right in the middle of a puppy pile🥰

The final girlie in our PowerPuff trio is Light Green Collar Girl; Buttercup💚 Buttercup was our last puppy born🫶🏻 She took a little longer than her brothers and sisters to get going but has had absolutely no problem keeping up with them since then💪🏼 9 out of 10 times we go in the puppy room she’s happily on the milk bar, the other 10% of the time she’s got the best napping spot right next to mom🥰

❤️‍🔥Introducing Wildfire’s B litter- “the Cartoons”❤️‍🔥

Our next Black and Rust girlie in the PowerPuff trio is Pink Collar Girl; Blossom🩷 Blossom is by far the darkest puppy I’ve had, when she first entered the world I thought she was all black😅 (which is hilarious because the week before I had a dream this whole litter was wild, out of standard colors🤣) Slowly but surely that rust is coming through and so are her opinions💁🏼‍♀️

Starting off strong with the PowerPuff Girls; our trio of black and rust girlies😍 Our light blue Collar Girl is Bubbles🩵 Bubbles is a strong independent woman and competitive queen 👸🏼 She’s the puppy most likely to be found by herself on the opposite end of the whelping box, but as soon as she hears any of the others nursing ITS ON. This is not a girl to back down from a fight at the milk bar💪🏼

I’m THRILLED to welcome this litter to the world in just a few weeks😍 Toro is a dog I’ve had my eye on for a very long time and I’m endlessly grateful that his owner, Lindy, saw my vision and was willing to put so much care into making this litter possible! When I say this breeding was a labor of love with MANY bumps in the road, I mean it😂 That just makes this litter all the more special! I can’t wait to meet these puppies and watch them develop- we hope to see lots of working/sport potential in this bunch🤩 My Pre-Reservation list for this litter is full, but we always welcome new applicants to be added to the waitlist! 🥰

Name: Hera
Age: 5 months
Gender: female
Location: Indiana

Cats: yes
Dogs: Yes, would do well with a dog who matches her high energy
Kids: yes
Livestock: unknown

Housebroken: Working on it! It's been several weeks since her last accident, but she just turned five months.
Crate trained: Another work in progress, but so far, so good.. Doesn't mess in her crate.
Training: Working on the basics, leash walking, sit, name game, crate games, etc. However please keep in mind she is a puppy, so her training will NEED to be continued!

Reason for surrender: She was abandoned at a shelter as a “stray.” We were able to locate her previous owner and her breeder and figure out more of her history. She was from an accidental litter of Beauceron X Australian Shepherds.

What does the foster family have to say?
Hera is a wild thing! Her new family will have to be prepared for naughty puppy things. She doesn’t chew anything up, doesn’t have accidents, is great off leash. It’s really just being a little noisy from time to time, having springs for legs, and she can be annoying to older dogs. With people she is super sweet, and very snuggly.

Who will be this pups' ideal new family?

Hera will do great with an active family who understands that she is a mix of two HIGH ENERGY and intelligent dog breeds! She will need mental and physical stimulation and continued training.

If you are interested in adopting please contact us!

PLEASE NOTE: Because of Hera's age she is not yet spayed. She will be placed on a long term foster agreement in her new home, with adoption being finalized after her spay. Because of this we will be extremely cautious if placing her in a home with intact animals.
