COLOR ME AN OUTLAW aka Milo (papers in photos)

Milo is a 2020 registered APHA gelding. If you’re looking for an in your pocket/puppy personality, this is the horse for you! He is super sweet and eager to please. He has the potential to be a great kids horse. He could also be a great ranch rider.

He’s been on trail rides and is happy being the leader or happy being in the back. He’s also recently been trained in dragging logs along with other obstacles like poles and going over bridges. He is looking for his person that can continue his training.
Milo is able to:
-WTC
-trail rides
-obstacles
-Ground drive
-Load a trailer
-Stands for the farrier
-Stand tied
-Good for the vet
He is up to date on vaccines, coggins, dewormer, dental, and farrier. He will continue his training while he’s with us.

Milo and Little Man have done so well the past month!

Milo has been on the trail and is learning how to drag a log. He’s also been working on other obstacles and usual arena work.

Little Man has been W/J/L well in the round pen and is starting to work in the arena. He’s also got a nice stop👏

Summer/Down time:

The heat had officially started especially in FL. At Saddlewood Ranch this is the time we give the horses down time and just let them be horses.

Our horses still work, but it’s less strenuous and we don’t push our horses through the heat. Make sure you’re riding early or late and hosing your four legged friends off whenever they’re getting too hot.

Plus letting them just be horses is great for their minds and pretty entertaining😂

PS. Towser loves to sunbathe and give me daily heart attacks

Saddlewood Ranch is offering affordable boarding starting at $350 with TNA and purina strategy (or owner provided) grain included. We have full time pasture boarding and stall with daily turnout. Other amenities include:

Trailering: It’s so important to teach your horses how to load. You never know when you have to get them somewhere safe quick. I always make sure Saddlewood Ranch horses know how to load and are also comfortable with it.

Milo is getting better at loading and is starting to get over the fear of being in a big metal box😅

Update on Little Man: he has taken the saddle like a champ and has been sat on quite a few times! We have currently been working on driving and obstacles just to keep his mind occupied. Due to his his age he won’t get his first rides till early spring, but he sure is ready for them:)

Titan is off to his new home today💜 Its bitter sweet, but we’re beyond excited and he’s going go a great and loving home.

This won’t be the last time we’ll be seeing Titan so stay tuned:)

SOLD: Titan has found a wonderful home and will be leaving in a few weeks to start his new adventure! I’m gonna miss this chunky boy, but I’m beyond excited for him and his new mom😊

Milo: Milo is a registered APHA stud c**t and is a coming 4 year old.

Both are currently getting ground work training and will start saddle training in a few weeks :)

SOLD: OBG CHIPS ON IMPULSE aka Titan

Titan is a 2021 registered APHA gelding. He can walk, jog, and lope. He's been on several trail rides and has been introduced to cattle. He is a very go with the flow kind of horse. He's one of those that can have a few days off then you can just hop right on and go. He can go any route and is very willing. He's good for the farrier, the vet, can load, and stand tied.
He's up to date on vaccines, coggins, dental, and farrier.

Hi everyone!
We have some open training spots at my facility for the fall and winter. Here is what we offer:

We have several options of training packages including 30, 60, and 90 days. With these lessons are included. Our facility has access to an arena, round pen, AC tack room, and a wash rack. We also have access to trails and cows 10 minutes for the facility.

Titan hasn’t had an update in a while so here you go:)

This guy has been great and had a successful trail ride and will see the cows next week. He also loaded in the trailer like a champ. He’s overall been an easy guy to work with and has a go with the flow personality💜

Atticus is a five-year-old mustang(not contracted with BLM). He can walk, jog, and lope. He can load, tie, stands for farrier, and is good for the vet. He has been on trail rides and has recently been introduced to cattle and did great. He does good on his own when riding and is good with other horses. He's got a great personality and is willing to please. He has a great head on his shoulders and would thrive anywhere he goes. He is UTD with dental, farrier, and vaccines.

Atticus
Atticus is a 5-year-old bay mustang from Nevada. He’s about 13.2 hands. He’s had an UTD coggins and has had his spring vaccines and dewormer. He is use to living in a stall for half the day then goes to turn out with other horses at night. He would do great living with other horses.

Atticus is a smart, quick footed and good minded gelding. He is willing to please and wants to learn. He would thrive with having a job and being able to work. He is still green and can go in any direction. Atticus can walk, jog, and lope in both directions. He saddles, ties, stands for the farrier, is good for the vet, and loads.

Had to post some photos of Whiskie/Astoria at her second show! She’s done wonders for her new owner and I’m so glad they do so well together.

I think it’s always important if you’re going to be selling horses you should always try and make sure the horse will be a good fit for the person.💜

Ground Work.

It’s the most important thing you can do with training. It creates the foundation your horse needs to succeed. Even with a broke horse I’ll still have sessions of ground work just to make sure we still have a good relationship.

Ground work can make or break a horse and it’s important to take your time and go at your horses pace.
