🩺📸 Ultrasound Training? Frenchie Says “Oui, As Long As There Are Treats!” 🐾🥐

Frenchie was the perfect model during a recent ultrasound training session for our team — striking a pose like a pro and showing just how comfortable we can make pets during the procedure. 💙

We often use our staff pets for training purposes to ensure our team is confident and skilled with equipment like our new ultrasound machine. And let’s just say… our furry volunteers never complain — especially with the treat-to-training ratio being very much in their favor. 😉

😐🐾 Merle was not amused…

Miss Merle came in for her exam today, and let’s just say — she wasn’t exactly thrilled about it. That face says “I did NOT sign up for this.” 😂

But don’t worry — her amazing dad was right there by her side, gently reminding her that we’re just here to help and keep her healthy. 💕 With a little encouragement (and maybe a few treats), Merle powered through like the good girl she is!

Even when they’re skeptical, we’re always grateful for the trust our patients (and their parents) put in us. 💉🐶🩺

This gorgeous girl was in for her final round of vaccines, and clearly, she knows how to strike a pose for the camera. Just look at that model behavior! 💁‍♀️🐾

We couldn’t resist sharing this sweet moment — because let’s be honest, the world could always use more puppy cuteness.

🐾✨ Meet Jamie – Our Newest (and Cutest!) Team Member! ✨🐾

Say hello to Jamie, a 12-week-old Shetland Sheepdog who has quickly stolen our hearts 💙 and made himself right at home here at the clinic! He belongs to Dr. Bright, and we’re so excited to introduce him as our clinic mascot and demo doggie-in-training. 🐶🎓

Jamie isn’t just a pretty face (though we can’t get enough of those fluffy ears 😍) — he’s already learning how to help us demonstrate treatments and procedures to our clients. From modeling how to take medications to showing off proper bandaging techniques, Jamie is picking it all up like a pro!

So don’t be surprised if you see this little guy trotting around during your next visit — he’s always happy to greet our patients and maybe sneak in a few puppy kisses. 🐾💕

🐾💖 There’s no place like home... and no comfort like a cuddle from Dad!

Although we do our absolute best to keep all of our patients calm, cozy, and cared for during their visit — nothing beats the healing power of love from their pet parents.

We couldn’t help but capture this magical moment 🥹💞 — one of our sweet patients snuggled up with her dad, finally well enough to head home. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

Wishing this baby continued healing and all the cuddles she can handle! 🐶🏡💕

🐾💤 Big Puppy Energy… but make it chill 🐶

This sweet girl is going to grow up to be very big — but you’d never guess it from how calm and gentle she already is! She was such a champ during her exam that she decided to reward herself with a well-deserved nap… right on the floor up front. 🥹💕

Nothing fazes this pup — not vaccines, not a physical exam, not even the hustle and bustle of the clinic lobby. Just pure, peaceful puppy vibes. 😌

We can’t wait to watch her grow (and grow… and grow!) into the gentle giant she’s meant to be. 💗

🧐 Can you guess what's wrong with this picture?

Thanks to our brand new ultrasound machine and our newly trained veterinary technicians — with guidance from experienced professional ultrasonographers — we’re now able to diagnose complex cases with greater accuracy than ever before.

What you’re seeing is our third case of hydronephrosis (also known as hydronephritis).

🩺 What is that?
Hydronephrosis occurs when there’s a build-up of fluid around the kidney. In this image, the kidney is the structure in the middle that looks a bit like a tomato sliced in half 🍅, and the dark areas around it represent fluid buildup.

This kind of diagnosis used to be very difficult without specialized imaging — but now, with our upgraded equipment and training, we’re catching these conditions earlier and treating them faster. 💪🐾

🐾 Hero Alert! Meet Bodhi! 🐶❤️

This gentle giant may weigh in at 140 lbs, but his heart is even bigger. 💪💉

Recently, Bodhi the Great Dane stepped up in an incredible way—by donating blood to help save the life of one of our canine patients in critical need. Thanks to Bodhi’s generous donation, we were able to perform a lifesaving transfusion. His calm demeanor, sweet nature, and massive paws made him the perfect donor.

Canine blood donors like Bodhi are true heroes. Not all heroes wear capes—some have fur and floppy ears. 🦸‍♂️🐾

Meet Franklin, our clinic kitty here at Happy Tails! 🧡🐾

He’s definitely a staff favorite — always looking for a cozy spot (usually on one of our techs!) to curl up between appointments. Franklin takes his job as our emotional support kitty very seriously, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without him.

There’s just something about orange cats… they really are some of the sweetest, most loving little creatures. Franklin proves that every single day. 😻

Meet Domino, the Maine C**n heartthrob who strutted into the clinic today for a nail trim—and left with all our hearts. 💅💖

He’s 90% fluff, 10% sass, and 100% cuddle monster. 🐾
Domino made zero fuss and maximum biscuit-making while getting pampered. We’re obsessed. 😍

At a majestic 21 years old, Lauren is the queen of our clinic — and she knows it. Don’t let her sweet little face fool you… she’s got opinions, and she’s not afraid to share them (usually with a glare or a swat).

She’s been with us longer than some of our staff and has earned the right to be just a little bit cranky. Whether she's judging us from her perch or stealing chairs to nap on, Lauren continues to keep everyone in line — with attitude, sass, and the occasional growl.
