Noticing changes with your pet due to the weather changing?

Here are some tips to help keep your dog safe in cold weather:
- Take care of their coat and skin
- If your dog has short hair, you can get them a coat or sweater. Bathing your dog less frequently can help prevent dry skin.
- Keep a close eye on your dog's behavior and bring them inside if they start showing signs of being too cold.

Why We’re Supporting the Shelter🐾

Animal shelters play a vital role in our community. They provide a safe haven for abandoned and abused pets, offer medical care, and work tirelessly to find loving homes for animals in need. However, these shelters often face challenges, including limited funding and resources necessary to provide the proper care for the animals. By coming together and contributing pet supplies and food, we can help alleviate some of this burden and ensure that every furry friend gets the love and care they deserve.

How You Can Help🍂

Throughout the month of November, we will be hosting a pet supply drive to collect essential items for our local shelter. Here’s how you can get involved:

Donate Pet Supplies🍗
We are accepting a variety of items, including:

Dry and wet dog food
Dry and wet cat food
Pet toys (collars, leashes, and treats)
Blankets and bedding
Litter for cats
Puppy pads
Cleaning supplies (bleach, paper towels, etc.)

Lets give some recognition to staff birthdays this month! Jackie Cardona, one of our front desk receptionists who is studying vet medicine and has plans on becoming a veterinarian in her future, just turned 21 over the holiday weekend! Secondly, Julia Brown, our UCF student who shadows Dr.Beltran, also turning 21 today. She is also studying vet medicine and has future plans to go to a veterinary school. Let's give a shoutout to these amazing staff members who bring so much to our team! Enjoy the birthday festivities!
