My name is Kyle Learned and I am the sole owner operating out of Oconomowoc, WI. Deer hunting has been my passion since my early years. Thankfully, my parents raised me to love and appreciate the outdoors. When my father introduced me to deer hunting as a kid, I was immediately hooked. We've been close hunting partners ever since, and continue to share that bond every season. Through the years, I

was always searching for a way to incorporate my passion into my work. After making a few trips to a local taxidermist to pick up deer mounts, I began asking questions about how he started in the business. After a few discussions, he agreed to mentor me, working on all big game from whitetail deer to bear, antelope, sheep, elk, and moose! It's been an incredible learning experience! In 2016, Wall of Whitetails was born, and I began taking on my own clients, which you'll see pictures of on this page. As with hunting, Taxidermy has become my passion. Since opening shop in 2016, I've spent hours upon hours studying anatomy and learning new techniques. I am a perfectionist, which brings out the artistry in my work. I strive to make your hard-earned trophy look as life-like as possible, putting extra time and effort into the details that most others would overlook. The pieces I work on get my full attention and dedication so you can enjoy and showcase your prize for years to come!

Quick update…I am no longer accepting new clients for the remainder of this year.

I’ve reserved some room and will still accept mounts for current and repeat customers, but only have a few spots left before hitting my absolute max. When that happens, I will no longer be accepting deer until September 2025.

Hard to believe it’s that time of year already. Just wanted to remind everyone about a few things for this season.

- Whitetail and Mule deer shoulder mounts only.

- No euro mounts, unless a mature cape is included. Spare capes are always appreciated for those in need of a replacement.

- As usual, only a certain number of deer will be accepted this year. My goal is to have ALL deer completed by May. (4-8 month turnaround)

- 50% deposit now required at time of drop off. This is a business decision due to rising costs of all materials.

- Lastly, prices will start at $1050, plus Wi tax. Again, this increase is largely due to the increase in supply costs, and the quality of work. We do some of the best whitetail work in the country, so the price should reflect that. I realize this isn’t for everyone, and that’s ok. But, for those that are wanting the highest quality mount to showcase for life, and at a quick turnaround time, it’s worth it. I promise.
