The clinic will be closed October 15th-19th Dr.Holder will be out of state for continued education. Please plan ahead for prescription refills. If needed we have a list of options for emergency/ urgent care pinned to our page. We understand this isn't an updated list since things are changing by the week but it is a good starting point.

We would like to take a few minutes to discuss a few changes happening at OVC-
This year we are having to say a short good bye to two familiar faces -
Jesse has headed back to Madison to start her third year of veterinary school and unfortunately won't be able to come back during her breaks again. We are so exited for the large animal vet she is destined to be!

Tara will be leaving us next week to start her next chapter heading off to London to start Veterinary school. We know she is going to achieve great things in this exciting adventure and are beyond proud and excited for her!

Both these young ladies will be deeply missed here but we are cheering them on for the full future they are destined for – fingers crossed they come back to us in the near future ;-)

With that we have welcomed two new employees,

Jodie is a slightly familiar face – she has picked up a few shifts here and there helping when she could. She comes to us with several years of emergency and critical care experience but her true passion is in internal medicine and getting to know her clients and their furry companions on a personal level

Hanna is a new face to Wisconsin. She comes to us with a few years of specialty and emergency medicine as well as some general practice. Her love and passion is patient care and making sure they are as comfortable as they can be when away from home

Please help us welcome Jodie and Hanna to the clinic and please be understanding while they learn our clients and the animals we help.

Updated emergency clinics in Wisconsin list! We’ve added a few as well as removed Blue Pearl Green Bay as that location will be closing at the end of this month. Additionally, we have added the drive time to each of these clinics from Oconto listed in red.

Oconto Veterinary Center will be CLOSED Wednesday, October 9th-Sunday, October 13th as Dr. Holder will be out of town.

If you have an emergency during this time, please contact one of the clinics in the list below, or Northwoods Vet Medic in Amberg, WI: (715) 864-2298

Staff will be in briefly Wed-Fri to check answering machine messages. We will be back in office with our normal hours Monday, October 14th.

Oconto Veterinary Center will be closed Monday, June 17th as Dr. Holder will be out of town for a family emergency.
