We are very thankful Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary was able to take our sweet Jimmy. After months of being with us we knew he needed a change of scene to connect with more potential adopters.

For Christmas Jimmy got a second chance!🎄❤️ Earlier this year he arrived at Oconto Area Humane Society as a stray. He was diagnosed with FIV and diabetes. Unfortunately, this chonky snuggle bug was overlooked month after month, likely due to his health. 😔 Oconto reached out to us, knowing we have experience with FIVs and diabetics, and a larger space for him to live. Welcome to Safe Haven, Jimmy! 😍 He reminds us of another orange diabetic male... Who remembers Milo? Christmas Eve happens to be the anniversary of Milo's passing. We are all thinking of him today, and honoring him by continuing to help kitties just like him! 🥹🌈

Today we are raising funds for Jimmy's care. He is on a fancy schmancy new pill for diabetes. His medication is pricey- can you help? Jimmy will be available for adoption, and he's welcome to live in our cage-free sanctuary for as long as he needs. Running a rescue for kitties with special needs and disabilities is costly. Without your support kitties like Jimmy would have nowhere else to turn. 🙏

Donations can be sent in through Facebook, or at www.safehavenpet.org/donate ❤️ Venmo: www.venmo.com/safehavenpetsanctuary (this is our ONLY Venmo- beware of copy cats!)

Thank you, and meowy Christmas Eve!

‼ FOSTER HOME NEEDED ‼
Mack has tested positive for Heartworm. He will now be undergoing a 4 month long treatment and will need a comfortable place to stay during that time. OAHS will cover all expenses and provide supplies. Fosters will need to be available for transportation to the shelter for any vet visits. If you are interested in fostering, we will give further information about the treatment process at time of appointment.
**During the treatment he will require kennel rest and limited activity.

Contact the shelter at [email protected] or 920-835-1738 to set up an appointment to meet him.
