WARNINGS!!
TO ALL OF MY MEGAPAWZ FOLLOWERS!
At the end of January, I received a call from a sweet lady in California that had a bad experience with someone that took money from her and never delivered to her the cat she paid for. This sweet lady thought the person that took the money from her was myself as MegaPawz Cattery. As I spoke to her and gathered information from her, I determined that there was someone using my cattery name, only with a slightly different spelling. This revelation has spurred a lot of research and filing of fraud reports over the last 2 months and unfortunately, the number of calls and messages from all over the country, of people affected by this scam, have increased. My attorney's are involved and trying to help me get to the bottom of this and get the information to the correct authorities to hopefully, put these scammers out of business. If any of you have contacted or communicated with the scam site of Mega Paws Cattery (notice the different spelling), please contact my attorney's (contact information in the photos attached to this post) so they can pass the information to the needed authorities. The process of getting them shut down will, unfortunately, not be a quick or an easy task. Please see all photos attached to this post as a reference and please be very diligent in your search for kittens to make sure you are dealing with a reputable breeder. There are too many scams taking hard earned money from people and this needs to stop. Also, while we are discussing scammers, make mental note of the following: Anyone commenting in the comment sections here on posts trying to get you to join their Mainec**n kitten adoption groups are scammer’s. Also please consider that a breeder that was in fact legitimate that has to post on a comment on someone’s business page to take your attention/money is not a reputable person… I would never post a link to my cattery page on ANY breeders page ever. That is completely rude & disrespectful. Stay safe and thank you for your support.
