Hands of Mercy sanctuary took in 41 of our non-adoptable cats so we could close due to my bad health. I truly do not know what I would have done without her and her big kind heart . She took on a whole lot taking my cats and has had wonderful progress with the cats and has adopted many out . They are in dire need of supplies and donations. If you could please find it in your heart to help them it would be greatly appreciated. They use
Purina dry of almost all varieties..
Cat chow
Naturals
Indoor
Gentle
Kitten
One
Senior One
Also 9lives dry varieties
Any decent quality cat cans and kitten fancy feast cans.
Churu meat paste tubes
And Kibbles and Bits regular or mini for the dogs. And Purina Pedigree or One cans for dogs.
Any variety of Tidy cat clumping litter. Or Arm and Hammer . I esp like the Tidy Cat with Glade or Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal. Litter box freshness booster crystals. Also always appreciate things like
paper towels,
30 gallon trash bags
and potty pads of all sizes.

I have been in the hospital with pneumonia and almost did not make it. My family brought me home from the hospital where I am healing and getting better everyday. I have decided not to take any more of the chemo treatments and to let God decide when it's my time to go. I just do not want to spend the rest of my life at a doctor's office getting tests done stressing and not enjoying the rest of my life. I know God is healing me and is taking my liver cancer away. He is also giving me the ability to not stress the small stuff and to enjoy my life to its fullest. Am I giving up? Absolutely not. I am simply giving everything to God. With God all things are possible and I know he is a great physician and he is healing me. I truly want to thank each and every one of you who are still donating. We are in the process of closing but will take some time and of course money. Your donations are making things very easy and is taking a whole lot of stress off of me. Thank you my beautiful friends! Thank you for your prayers and for your support over all these years and continued support until I close. I will not be able to close until the 1st of the year after I file my taxes. Any and all money in the PAWS account's left over will be given to another 501C3 tax exempt rescue. It has been a long 25 years. Do I have regrets? Absolutely not! I have saved a lot of kitties and have loved being a part of helping the community and helping these precious babies safe.To all my rescue friends who struggle daily just to feed the animals they have my prayers are with you and I pray that everyone will soon realize that they operate on donations only. A lot of the rescues pay out of their own pocket just so these animals can eat. I pray God will bless each and every one of these rescues very big and give hope and help to all of these precious animals who right now are homeless and so helpless. Anyway just wanted to touch base. I will continue to let you know how things go we did manage to get all the cats transported to a wonderful sanctuary, the hands of Mercy sanctuary in San Angelo Texas. Brenda Wilkinson took on 41 semi and feral cats of mine that I could not adopt out over the years. She has done a wonderful job and has adopted quite a few out to wonderful homes. I cannot ever quit thanking this wonderful woman for her kindness. And a huge thank you to my Nebraska angels who have been supporting us throughout 25 years with PAWS Cat Rescue Haven House and stayed until the very end to make sure that all the cats would be transported to a safe place people God puts people in our lives and I know God put these wonderful people in my life.

🐾Transport number 3 complete!🐾 Today they took 10 cats leaving 11 cats for the final and last transport in a couple of weeks. So very thankful as I have started my chemo pills and I'm not feeling well. Now I can concentrate on getting well and know that these babies are in wonderful hands with Brenda Wilkinson ! Thank you Brenda for being my hero and the Kitty's Heroes!

🙏🐾Transport #3 Saturday🐾🙏

We will be doing our third transport this Saturday. Hands of Mercy sanctuary will be taking 10 or 11 of our 21 remaining cats to their sanctuary in San Angelo Texas, leaving one transport left with the remaining cats. I'm very thankful for this wonderful sanctuary. I will be starting my chemotherapy soon. Because of Brenda Wilkinson I will now be able to concentrate on getting myself well and know that all the cats that were at PAWS Cat Rescue Haven House are in the very best hands. If anyone would like to come and help I believe they're going to be picking up supplies Saturday and we could sure use some able bodies. Private message me for a time frame for this. God is great!

❤Transport #2 Complete

Brenda Wilkinson and her sweet neighbor Terri transported 11 of our PAWS residents to the Hands of Mercy Sanctuary in San Angelo Texas leaving us with 21 cats (miscounted) had one more than I counted. I am just so grateful for Brenda and her big heart for taking all of the cats from PAWS so I can concentrate on getting well. I truly believe God has put this wonderful person and sanctuary in my life and I pray God will bless her really BIG!

🙏Transport Day🙏

Today Brenda Wilkinson with Hands of Mercy Sanctuary of San Angelo Texas will be transporting 10 of our kitties to her wonderful sanctuary. This will leave us 21 cats left to transport. 🙏🐾 Help Needed🐾🙏

I was hoping to get some volunteers today (Sunday at 1:00) to move supplies and clean some snoozers and get supplies ready in case they want to transport some supplies next Friday any help would be appreciated even if it's just for an hour or two. We will be doing a transport next Friday and then after that the transports will be every week on Saturday until all the kitties are gone to the Hands of Mercy Sanctuary in San Angelo. I appreciate any help I can get! Thank you in advance for helping. 🐾Transport Delayed!🐾

Our next transport will be a week from tomorrow. We are giving Brenda Wilkinson a chance to heal before taking on any more kitties. Please say a prayer for our special angel who will be taking all of the 31 paws residents 5 to 10 at a time each transport to her wonderful sanctuary.

Today I was blessed to have Teresa Belmore and her husband Santos help me unload my truck of supplies and take four very overused scratching posts to the trash. They also visited with me and the kitties, and gave the cats lots of pets and love! I want to tell you how God has put so many wonderful, kind people in my life to help me through this journey of many new beginnings and ends. God continues to amaze me with so many blessings and working every thing out so perfectly!

Today at 1:00 we will be having a get together at the shelter for those who wish to attend and help with the closure of the PAWS Cat Rescue Haven House. For 21 years , we have saved and rehomed many many kitties for Odessa and the surrounding areas. I will be needing help cleaning snoozers and getting supplies gathered for when Brenda comes next Friday for the first transport of cats to her wonderful sanctuary. I am uncertain how many will be going this trip but every Friday in August she will come and get kitties until all the kitties are gone Also just loving on the kitties will be helpful, and unboxing supplies if needed. I do appreciate each and every one of you who have offered your help in transporting and helping me with this closure. It is Bittersweet for me but I know the cats will be in good hands with Brenda Wilkinson. I can finally concentrate on my health thanks to Brenda Wilkinson and everyone who is helping me. A very huge thank you to my "Nebraska Angels" who have gone above and beyond to make this happen for me and the kitties. I pray that God will bless you all so big and I want you to know how much I appreciate each and everyone of you! 🙏 Desperately Needing help!🙏

Hands of Mercy Sanctuary will be starting the transports of our remaining 31 cats soon. I am uncertain how many cats will be transported each time. There will be quite a lot of trips as she is only going to take what she feels like she can handle and she already has a shelter full of cats and kittens. Brenda Wilkinson is taking the cats and being not only their hero, but also mine!

We are in desperate need of funds to give to her for transport and vetting for these 31 cats, and also we need funds so we can continue to operate our shelter until we close. Any remaining funds in our account after we close will be donated to Hands of Mercy Sanctuary. Update we will be transporting kitties 10 kitties at a time two trips and 11 kitties the third trip. We will not need that many carriers. I will just need about six carriers and we can reuse for each transport.

Paws remaining 31 cats will be heading to Hands of Mercy Sanctuary located in San Angelo Texas. Brenda and her wonderful Sanctuary was the first to step up in saving 9 cats of the Paws 40 cats needing placed, with a rescue for ALL kitties including special needs, senior and un-socialized kitties. Well our wonderful Lord has paved the road and opened doors making it possible for the last 31 PAWS kitties to go to this wonderful rescue, run by a person with the biggest heart ever, Brenda Wilkinson.

We are uncertain at this time if all 31 will go at once or we will do it in increments of 10, but we're looking at in about 3 weeks to start the process of transferring the kitties to their new sanctuary which may I add is beautiful and a perfect place for these babies! I am seeking anybody that has any extra carriers that they do not need as I'm going to need at least 25 carriers. If you have maybe some in storage that you don't need anymore we could certainly use them for transport. We also need a whole lot of prayers for Brenda Wilkinson as she is taking on so much. We need to pray for her good health and her ability to have the funds she needs and the help she needs. Yes she is our hero, the cats and myself. I will finally be able to close the rescue and concentrate on getting myself well and not worry about the cats being euthanized, or not being taken care of. They will definitely be in good hands!
