Congratulations to Nyla Semaan on your 2nd place finish in the USEF/NCEA Medal Final 🎉 Thank you to everyone at Don Stewart Stables for your support and for letting us borrow the amazing Acocento for the class. Proud of Nyla for riding so well on a horse she had ridden once the day before and earning a score of 90 on the flat which moved her up into the bracket phase. Excited to watch Nyla do more of this next year in college - go Baylor Bears 🐻 💚💛

All the horses had a nice quiet evening at WEC Ocala during the storm - thanks so much for allowing us to evacuate there and thank you to friends who came to help walk horses the past couple of days!
Our main barn is fine with no damage, the little four stall barn did lose the roof 😳 and a couple big oak trees came down. Nothing that can’t be fixed. Our road is flooded at the entrance to the neighborhood and power is out for possibly a few weeks…. But it could have been much worse! Kai and friends say that Tampa and St. Pete looks like a war zone. Prayers to everyone - it’s going to be a long month!

Hard to believe there is a monster lurking out there in the gulf, it was such a beautiful day today. All the horses have been safely evacuated to WEC in Ocala.
I may have shed a tear when I pulled out the driveway today, I don’t have a good feeling about this storm. Hoping it won’t be as bad as what they are saying. Stay safe Floridians, prayers to everyone in Milton’s path 💔
