The Dream Team had a great weekend at CFHJA this week! Here are the highlights,
- Allison Postier and “Lucero”, owned by Gretchen Vida, brought home two reds and two pinks in the Non-Thoroughbred hunters putting down solid rounds in a competitive class.
- Anthony Ruotolo was reserve champion in the local hunters with “One in a Million”, owned by Kendall Barnes, in his third show in the US.
- Kendall Barnes put down nice rounds in the pouring rain with “One in a Million”, bringing home good ribbons out of a big class in the beginner rider 2’3”.
- Gretchen Vida and her mount, “Lucero”, stepped back into the show ring together this weekend, where each round was better than the last. Earning a 2nd in the equitation flat out of a big and competitive class, and bringing home good ribbons over fences.
- Collins McVety won the CFHJA pony medal on her pony, “Bianca”, and laid down nice trips in the pony equitation.
- Bianca Murphy won the walk class aboard “Bianca”, bringing home big smiles- a standard with this Bianca and Bianca duo!
- Kendall Ertsgaard and her pony, “Southern Charm” brought their A-game this weekend in the beginner rider 2’3- winning the first trip on Sunday, and good ribbons following. Unfortunately this duo landed just a few points shy of reserve champion, but are ready to take on children’s pony in December!
- McKenzie Mezrah confidently piloted “Whiskey Bent” in the Low Adult jumpers for his first time in the jumper ring, putting down some nice rounds!
- Last, but certainly not least, Amulya Vindhya and “Black Magic” won the walk/trot equitation, and brought home third in the walk/trot pleasure. Amulya put her game face on and showed up that she is ready for the cross rails next season!
Thank you to our awesome team for another great show. Both behind the scenes, and on the front lines, everything ran smoothly.
