Suncoast Stables is an equestrian barn that strives for a safe and fun environment. Owner/Trainer Krystle Lee earned her Bachelors of Equestrian Science from William Woods University and is an active member of ARIA, CHA, USEF, UPHA, and ASHA. Krystle has created a unique and supportive environment for clients, and emphasizes the respect and responsibility required of a successful horse and owner.

Suncoast Stables Tiny Tots Summer Camp day 3!
This morning our campers helped clean stalls and learned that sometimes you get messy taking care of the horses you ride!
Then during our ride we worked on our posting trot and our riding posture, as we practiced for the show Friday.
After we hosed off the horses, we cooled off with a Kona Ice treat and snack time!

Suncoast Stables Tiny Tots Summer camp day 2!
Today our campers got their own horse ready from start to finish. Brushing the horses and learning to tack them up for their morning ride.
During their ride the campers worked on posting, got to do some trotting and rode backwards!
After our lesson horses were taken care of, the campers got to hang out with our mini donkeys and feed them carrots! We had snack and played camp games like "horse horse donkey" before pick up!

Suncoast Stables Disney Tiny Tots Summer Camp day 1!
Today our campers started their morning by learning to groom some horses!
Then we split into two groups for riding and painting.
In the riding arena they learned exercises like "jockey" and "froggies". They also worked on their steering by zig zagging through cones!
When they weren't riding they painted either Kirby or Deva and then gave them a bubble bath!
After the horses were turned out, we had snack and played games until pick up!

Suncoast Stables Intermediate Summer Horse Camp day 5!
This morning we had a shavings relay race to help take care of our stalled horses. We got popsicles as a fun treat afterward!
Then we got our horses ready and practiced our show classes for our parent show later!
Now we are having lunch and playing games until show time!
We hope everyone had an amazing week and our next Intermediate camp week is July 15th "Harry Potter" theme!

Suncoast Stables Intermediate Summer Horse Camp day 4!
We started our morning by line dancing to "The Cotten Eyed Joe", "The Cupid Shuffle" and "The Macarena"!
Then we got our horses ready for our morning lunge lessons! During our lunge lesson we did no hand exercises, no stirrup trotting, around the worlds, and jockey trot!
We visited our donkeys and fed everyone peppermints before having lunch!
After lunch we played lots of games! "Hot Polo Wrap", "Red Rover", "Horse n Trainer", Cat n Mouse" and "Horse Napper"
Before relaxing in the shade for parent pick up, we fed the entire farm either Hay or Grain!

Suncoast Stables Intermediate Summer Horse Camp day 3!
This morning Team Fortune, Team Kirby and Team Carrington competed in several different riding relay races!
We painted horses, gave them bubble baths and had Kona Ice!
After lunch we played some camp games/races in the barn while we waited out the rain. The campers did a Farm Scavenger Hunt before feeding the horses dinner and getting picked up.

Suncoast Stables Intermediate Summer Horse Camp day 2!
Today we started camp by grooming our horses in pairs. Then we had "tacking relay races"!
Camper McKenna was the fastest (and most correct) in her round, Camper Maddie won her round, and our fastest Counselor was Devon!
During our morning riding lesson we played "follow the leader" and rode backwards!
After lunch we played the camp games "Sneaky Statues" and "Horse and Trainer"! Before the kids went home we fed the whole barn either hay or grain!

Suncoast Stables Intermediate Horse Camp day 1!

Today intermediate camp started the morning by cleaning stalls and getting their horses groomed/tacked for a small group riding lesson. When they weren't riding, they gave some of our horses much needed bubble baths!
After lunch the kids played in a giant game of Camper Vs. Counselor "Red Rover"! We also played other camp games like "Cat n Mouse" and "Red light, Green light"! Then we wrapped up the day by feeding the whole farm hay/grain!

Suncoast Stables " Painting with Horses " Regular Summer Camp day 5!
This morning we played a new game "Horse Detective"! We super groomed our horses, so they are all ready for the show this afternoon! We decorated/colored our own Suncoast Stables Show Ribbons!
After lunch we tacked our horses and practiced our pattern for our parent show at 2pm!

Suncoast Stables "Painting with Horses " Regular Summer Camp day 4!
We started this morning with Team Bonding Exercises like the "Human Knot" and "Heads Down"!
Then we had our Horse Painting Activity and got to take home our very own horse painted canvas!
After lunch we had 3 rotations of activities; Lunge lessons in the arena, camp games and grooming/braiding!
We finished today with feeding the whole farm hay/grain!
Parent show tomorrow at 2pm!

Today was the big day! Each rider received a canvas and took turns having the horse paint on their canvas!
They also worked on trotting on the lunge line and practicing for the Parent Show tomorrow!

Suncoast Stables "Painting with Horses " Regular Summer camp week day 2!
This morning we played group camp games in the covered arena, groomed horses and fed our mini donkeys carrots!
During lunch we had a Q+A session about horses. After lunch the kids rode in small groups; working on their posting trot and getting to ride backwards! When the kids were not riding they got to paint/decorate their own horse shoe! Even with a rainy afternoon we still had a lot of fun!

Today we painted the horses with non toxic paint and then gave them bubble baths. We learned to groom the horses and got to ride!

In the morning we learned to groom some horses, played a few camp games and cleaned stalls.
After lunch we finger painted horses, gave them a bubble bath and rode for 45 mins!
Before we went home we helped with either untacking the horses or feeding hay/grain to the whole farm.
