Every year on September 1st since 1984, South Carolina celebrates their state dog: The Boykin Spaniel. Even though we are just outside that state line, we'd love to take the opportunity to celebrate our own "Little Brown Dog".

This hearty, driven and loyal little dog in our yard is one I never regret bringing home. She's comical, focused and smart as a whip. The pay off with her training is tenfold more than the others.

Our family thinks the world of this "little brown brat"!

The stud books are still open for the Boykin Spaniel into the AKC and Kimber is the first dog in her linage to be dual registered into the AKC as well as her parent registry of the BSS.

Kimber is the first dog in her linage to obtain AKC titles.
..AND soon, we hope to have a very, very big and exciting announcement to make about Kimber, so give us 3 more weeks to confirm!

So even though we celebrate our favorite BROWN DOG every day, we will a little more today.

We're so thankful for you, Kimmy, and can't wait to see what your future holds!

Our favorite Boykin made her first appearance in the rally ring over the weekend as well! Scoring an 87 on Saturday and a 88 on Sunday, she now has 2/3 of her qualifying legs of her rally title!

This Boykin is the star of the show everywhere she goes. She made several friends ring side and had many that would have left with her if I didn't keep my eyes on them 🤣

Way to go, Kimber, the Boykin that brings us so much joy...and laughs, and sometimes even a few cuss words. 🫢

CONGRATS HOLLY!

This afternoon, Holly achieved her Rally Novice (RN) title at the Atlanta Golden Retriever Club of America show in Lawrenceville!!! To top it off, she even WON THE CLASS WITH A SCORE OF 97!
"31 Pines Make An Impression RN CGC" aka HOLLY(wood), is really living up to her name!
