Please give dues to Tom at the track or make arrangements with me (Jess). You will receive a sticker and this must be displayed on your trailer.

🔴The county has allowed us to continue taking care of the track to keep costs and dues down for the horseman.

🔴Please be kind and courteous to those who volunteer their time to take care of the track, the county workers and to each other.

🔴The track is worked a minimum 3 days a week, weather permitting, at this time it’s when it’s thawed.

🔴We will have a schedule for when the gates are set on the front side starting in February.

🔴Dues cover the costs for maintaining the track, equipment, fuel, walkers, etc. We do our best to keep up, please do your part in respecting the track and walkers.

🔴Do not hound the Golden Spike or their county workers! It is a privilege for us to use and maintain the track and we don’t want to lose that privilege.

These are tentative track closures per the Golden Spike for the next 3 months.

They pulled the gates off to water and work the track. They will be set again tomorrow about 2:00.

The whole fairgrounds will be closed Friday night through Tuesday, therefore the race track is also closed

The track will be closed tomorrow in preparation of the races on Sunday and an event the Golden Spike is hosting.

The track will be closed Saturday at 12:00 to prep for Sundays races.

The big gates will be set today through Saturday at 12:00.

-Hard hats and vests are required when using the track.-

Update-
They are working on the gates tomorrow. Plan on them NOT being set tomorrow. If they are able to set them sooner for whatever reason we will update here. They will be set for Tuesday. Thank you all for your patience!

EDIT: The gates will be set by noon tomorrow.

They not be set Monday until late afternoon for repairs.

Gates are coming off around 6 tonight, track will be watered and worked and gates reset around 11 tomorrow morning

💥 UQHRA races are this weekend 🏇🏻 🙌

💥 Due to the rain we are hoping to be able to have the gates set by Wednesday, we will update here. As always feel free to reach out to us as well if needed, we understand the importance here.

💥 The draw for UQHRAs races is this evening @ 6:00 pm in the auction barn at the Golden Spike Event Center (Weber Downs).

💥 You can get licensed this evening so if you have time, get it done and save on stress on race day.
