Just as an update on availability: We are basically full until the end of July with the exception of an odd day or two here and there, generally at the beginning of the week. If you are looking for boarding toward the end of July or in August, make sure you don't wait to long to ensure that we have availability for you!

Dear Customers,

Due to inflation, we sadly are needing to raise our rates. Our current rates will stay the same until the end of March. After that, they will be as follows:

Overnight Boarding: $28/day (includes up to about 24 hours)
Additional Dogs that can stay together: $20/day
Intact Males/Females in Heat/Other special cases: $10/day extra
Daycare: $20/day for up to 10 hours
Month or more discount: 20%

We try to keep our rates as affordable as possible. We appreciate those who have paid with cash or check to help us in our efforts. We will be starting to charge credit card fees for those paying using that method.

Quick update on current availability for boarding during the upcoming holidays: We are full for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. However, we still do have some availability during New Years, depending on when you need to drop off. So, if you need boarding for New Years, let us know so we can get you on our schedule before that fills up too.

We have a lot of dogs come that are nervous here at first, but often warm up with some time and care. Boarding your dog or utilizing daycare can definitely help socialize you dog, especially when starting young.

Meet Bear: a very large 5 year old lab looking for a new home! This guy has stayed with us before and gets along well with other dogs. His owner is going through a tough situation though and is unable to keep him, so he needs a new home. She is hoping he can be somewhere with a large fenced yard as he loves to be outside and needs to be able to move around. At minimum he needs to be walked daily if he can’t run around outside. He can be loud at first when left alone, but will calm down. He would do well with another dog, especially if that dog is past puppy stage. He likes the cold and likes to play tug-a-war. He loves kids, and overall he is a great dog. If you or anyone you know would be interested in giving him a new home, please let me know and I will get you in contact with his current owner. For the love of puppies! This is our family dog playing with a ten week old mini goldendoodle puppy that stayed with us. We love their little play bows to each other!

People often are concerned about their dogs being warm and comfortable enough here during the winter. Rest assured that we work to make sure they are taken care of during their stay. Well behaved dogs permitted to come into our house may come and go through the dog door into to our comfortable heated pet-safe room. Dog houses in the runs and yard also provide shelter, insulation, and/or heat. In bad weather and during the night, we have dogs housed in the barn kennels where they have access to wood houses fitted with safe plastic heat lamps.

Meet Rusev, a Husky and Pyrenees Mix, looking for a new home! He is about 4-5 years old and is a registered service dog. A friend of a friend is looking for a new home for him and is on a short deadline to find a good place that will adopt him.
