Who is ready for our Sunday Social?!

We know we are!

Our Sunday social starts with tracking.
This is a fun activity that drives a dog’s ability to detect, recognize and follow a specific scent. It's both mentally and physically stimulating and helps an active dog burn energy.

After tracking we practice socializing with a safe distance, along with obedience.

Tracking starts at 9 AM.
Obedience and Socialization at 10 AM.

Wellness Wednesday! ⛑️

Ideally, your dog should be seen for a teeth cleaning every 6-12 months. At home brushings can be extremely beneficial! Regular tooth-brushing removes particles of food and bacteria that cause plaque and tartar development, and gives you a regular opportunity to inspect your dog's mouth.

Our first annual END OF SUMMER GAMES IS TOMORROW!!! 🎉🎉🎉 FREE ADMISSION

Think you and your dog have what it takes to win? Come out and compete, we will be playing 4 games with our dogs testing their obedience in sit stays, down stays, bed (place command), and loose leash walking.

The prizes for these games include: a $100 Visa Card, a full size bag of Inukshuk dog food, a leather leash + collar of your choice, and a bag of Ford’s Dog Treats.

The 4 games we play are:
Musical Carpets
Corn Hole competition
Tic Tac Toe
Loose leash walking competition (with distractions)

Brush up on that obedience and come play with your dog. We will also have agility equipment to play with and food!!!

Happy Monday!

While puppy training might seem a little overwhelming, puppies absorb information at almost unbelievable levels in their early months. The best time to start training a puppy is now. ❤️

Regular training sessions with your puppy builds confidence, provides mental stimulation and strengthens the human-animal bond. Providing stimulation and attention which will help to prevent behaviour concerns. 🐶

‼️ Death Row Dog ‼️SHARE and Help us save Spartan! He is at risk for euthanasia. We have been fostering and training this big boy and he needs a rescue, foster, or a forever home. You can do so through Weber County Animal Services, they are amazing people to work with (or call or message us!). Spartan is loving and friendly, and has extremely high prey drive. He is thought to be a German Shorthair Pointer x Bully mix. He is a bird dog for sure, flushes and points and will need space to run. Send us a message for more info and to meet this big fella!

Heartworms are scary and can be life threatening! Prevention is key.
Ask your veterinarian about heartworm prevention and consider spraying your yard for mosquitoes. ❤️

We recently had our property sprayed for mosquitoes and LOVE going outside in the evenings with the dogs and have no mosquito bites!!! Mosquito shield did an amazing job! We have been very impressed with how effective our last spray was. They went above and beyond taking care of us, thank you! ❤️

Shout out to SHELTER DOGS!!! Meet Yondu, he is an amazing German Shepherd with the best temperament at the Weber County Shelter. Happy and friendly and NEEDS A HOME. We’ve evaluated him, played with him a bit, and we’re falling in love with him. Yondu will receive free training with us and a free grooming for when he goes home! ❤️❤️❤️
