My perfect c**t. My favorite constellation. You are healing the parts of me that you didn’t even break. I fell in love the second I saw your cute fuzzy chocolate self. I gave you the nickname truffle. That day in may our souls collided and it was truly one of the greatest moments I’ve experienced. I’m truly blessed to get to bring this boy up. thank you for all you’ve done with Orion and helping him be the horse that brings my spark back.

Tonight’s fit check is brought to you by their breeches and shirts and so comfy!!! Don’t have any videos of tonight’s lesson because tonight’s lesson was about trusting your gut and putting the health of your horse first. And no matter the ride always pat your pony. Orion was coughing pretty hard in the trot work so we decided to take it easy and take some cute pictures! It’s not always about the ride. I was happy to just throw a leg over and tootle around as we called it! Thank you for the calm easy ride tonight!

Wasn’t feeling the greatest today but in my sweats and layers I went to the barn and groomed up my boy. Also while there tried on his big kid setup just to make sure it would fit good! Just him and I helped fill my cup! Such an amazing young horse and I’m so excited to see where we go together!!

Man, life has been hard lately. It was a very hard decision to retire Betty and let her live her life as comfortable and happy as we can keep her!! There has been many incidents And signs that have led me to this decision but Jax Ginger and I.. and Orion are taking on the world together so here we go!!! Betty gets to be a happy ole lady who plays around with liberty! Just no more riding for us. ♥️♥️

The one thing I’ve learned in 2024 is that not everything goes to plan and that’s okay. I didn’t have the ride I wanted on Betty but it was the ride we both needed. Watched the sunset on the mountains and walked out and cleared the mind!

Not the best angle for either of us, but I’m a firm believer in always pat your pony!!! They’re trying their best too and that is recognized!!! Bad ride or not they are a living being too and we all have bad days!!! What’s important is you still give what you got on those days even if it’s 1% it’s better than 0!

So…as an equestrian and an athlete my health is super important to me and I’m going to be up front, I have had a roller coaster of a year with finding out things about my health, but these 4 main things have been keeping me going, my daily vitamins the morning lifestyle mix to fuel my day and the collagen to keep my hair growing long and pretty hahah it’s been a goal of mine to have long healthy hair again!!! But I want to be my best self and show up for my equine partners! Thanks to I can do that!!!
