Hope's Rescue

Hope's Rescue is dedicated to Hope, a little Chihuahua that was thrown into a firepit and later died from her injuries. Hope's legacy will live on.

We are a passionate group of volunteers who are dedicated in helping as many shelter and relinquished animals find forever homes as possible. Each one of our volunteers comes to our rescue with a wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of the problems that exist with the overflowing amount of animals in shelters that have no chance of making it out. We can not save ALL of them but we will save

as many as humanly possible. All of our animals will be in foster homes so that gives us the opportunity to see their behavior, training, special needs and anything else that needs to addressed before adopting out.

My name is Benny, and I'm around 18 months old.

I will be looking for my forever home soon. I can be a little shy at first, but don't let that fool you, because I warm up quickly when I feel safe. My foster mom says I have the most adorable face and that I'm kissable.
She kisses me and tells me I'm just the best boy. We're working on leash training, and I'm still hesitant, but she gives me a treat when I walk with her.
I love my treats.

She says I'm going to need to find my forever family soon because she's falling in love with me. I love to snuggle in bed at night, and I'm totally house-trained.

I'm an Idaho S**g mix and weigh around 28 pounds. I'm fully vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped.

I love other dogs and need to go to a home with a doggy friend! I'm still working on a few things, but I'll be ready soon to find my perfect family.

I know they will fall in love with me!

She is fully vetted, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. This adorable girl is Penelope, and she is waiting to find her forever family.

She is sweet, wonderful with people, and great with children; she is also great with her canine friends. She plays, but loves to snuggle right beside her person. Penelope is around 4 years old and weighs around 20 pounds.

How could anyone not fall in love!

2025 came to an end, and Hope's Rescue looks back and is grateful for all the support we've received over the year.

Our numbers are small because Hope's has always kept our rescue small to provide the needed care to so many that we've helped.

We were able to pull 52 dogs, many of which needed expensive medical care.

We were able to help five more hospice babies, increasing our hospice angels to 13.

Sadly we lost 7 of our hospice babies in 2025.

We had 42 adoptions and worked hard to find each of them the perfect home.

We couldn't have done it without all of YOU!

Our amazing fosters, volunteers, donors and supporters.

We thank you, and our four-legged friends thank you!

Wishing for a wonderful 2026 where more will be saved and loved.

Adorable Teddy was adopted! This cute boy will be the "only child" and get all the attention! It was so fun to match him with the perfect adopter! Helga and Teddy have a wonderful life!

Goose is around 4 years old and about 50 pounds. This handsome Labradoodle has the cutest scruffy face and a gentle soul that makes you feel instantly at ease.

He does great with other dogs and truly loves his people. Goose can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and secure, he warms up quickly and shows his sweet, affectionate side. He’d make a wonderful family dog and a loyal, steady companion for someone looking for a true best friend.

Goose is fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped — all ready to head home and start his next chapter.

Every Christmas, Hopes Rescue strives to make a difference in the lives of dogs in need, aiming to place at least a couple into foster homes from shelters.

Well, in one week we saved 5!

That's truly remarkable, considering our limited foster openings. Somehow, we rose to the challenge!

I'm deeply grateful to those individuals who stepped forward, saying, 'I can help!' You are the ones who made a difference in the lives of 5 precious souls!

I do appreciate all of our fosters who always seem to have space for one more to love!
