I saw a saying and thought yes, many people do love them until they pass.
But when you have a hospice program, we are the ones who love them until the end.
We’ve had so much sadness lately with our seniors.
Many are failing and their time is limited.
Between vet visits, medication, tests and prescription food it’s about breaking hopes rescue.
As with all rescues our adoptions are slow, so many we can’t help because of lack of funds, no fosters and I think many are feeling defeated.
In the last 2 months we’ve spent 3,000 on vet bills, medications, euthanasia and cremations.
Our rescue can’t continue a hospice program without help.
As of now we are closed to any intake's for hospice/ seniors.
Our little Winston went to be neutered this morning and he was urinating blood.
Immediately he had an X-ray and is on medication for 10 days.
An ultrasound has been mentioned.
We have no idea what is going on.
His right side droops like Bell’s palsy.
We ruled out an ear issue.
Our sweet sugar cube will be crossing tomorrow which is heartbreaking.
So as you can see it’s just been a sh*tty
week!
We could really use your help or please share .
We appreciate all of you helping so many times, and I so wish we didn’t have to constantly ask for help!
Hug your babies a little closer tonight!
