It was a busy day today for Dr. Hollingsworth, Brit, Autumn and Amanda! But well worth it when we can say that these kiddos are all spayed/neutered and available for forever homes!

Update: Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate the owner of the injured cat and due to grave injuries despite attempted treatment, Animal Services in conjunction with our veterinarians have decided to humanely euthanize this poor baby.

We are still searching for the owner of the doodle pup.

We need your help again! These babies were brought in today as strays.

The dog was found in Riverdale, no chip or owner information on their tags.

The cat was found on 4600 and Harrison. Unfortunately, this kitty has some injuries resulting from being hit by a car. No microchip or tags.

🐾 Meet our brave buddy, Fish the Goldendoodle! 🐾

Poor Fish came to see us after a few days of feeling unwell and vomiting. Our team suspected he might have swallowed something that was causing a blockage. Sure enough, with the help of our special endoscopy equipment, we found and safely removed a small but mighty culprit—a suction cup- completely without any evasive surgery! !

Even though it was tiny, the suction cup fit just right to block his stomach, like a little kitchen sink plug. Now Fish is feeling so much better and is back to his happy, tail-wagging self! 🐶❤️

Remember, pets are curious and can get into all sorts of things! If your furry friend isn’t feeling well, we’re here to help. 🩺✨

Help Peppa Heal! 🐾

This adorable girl, Peppa, needs our help! She’s suffering from “happy tail,” and her only way to heal is through a tail amputation. But Peppa is full of love and wagging for a better tomorrow—and together, we can make it happen!

Peppa is currently safe at Wasatch Hollow Animal Hospital, where she’ll stay for her surgery and recovery, with her loving friends at the Weber County Animal Shelter cheering her on. Let’s show her she’s not alone by helping cover the cost of her procedure!

To donate, please use this Venmo link and add “Peppa” as the reason. 100% of your donation goes to Veterinary Medical Charities, directly supporting Peppa’s care. And if we raise more than needed, every penny will help other pets waiting for their chance to heal, too.

Thank you for giving Peppa a reason to wag again!

🐾✨ Hey Ogden Friends! ✨🐾

We’ve got some tail-wagging news from our local Animal Shelter! They’ve reached out for some help, and we know we can count on you! While Brit, Lexi, and Dr. Hollingsworth are busy putting together educational protocols (that's fancy talk for “how to keep our furry friends happy and healthy”) and medication charts, they’ll also be gathering numerous medications they need— thanks, Dr. Howard and WHAH, for being our pet superheroes! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

🍂 Now that fall is here, we’re asking you to donate your old pool noodles! Yes, those colorful foam sticks that you thought would only see the light of day at pool parties! These are the perfect solution for our happy pups who can’t stop wagging their tails while stuck in runs. Let’s just say it’s either pool noodles or a lot of “tail-ache” for them! 😂🐶

📦 And speaking of fun, we need your help collecting soda boxes (the flat, pallet type) or any Costco boxes that could double as disposable litter pans. Because let’s be honest, what else are you going to do with those giant boxes? They aren’t exactly suitable for your next Amazon Prime delivery!

Bring in your pool noodles and boxes, and as a thank you, we’ll treat your furball to a FREE nail trim (as long as they don’t make a break for it)! Or you can snag $10 off your next office visit—just think of it as a “thank you” for helping us save the world, one tail at a time!

So let’s rally together and show our furry friends some love (and maybe a few giggles)! Thank you for being pawsitively awesome! 🐕💕
