We are a family-owned and operated breeder/dog trainers, dedicated to producing top notch German Shorthair Pointer puppies.

We take pride in our breeding program and strive to make sure our puppies go to loving and caring homes. Welcome to Faithful Point Kennels owned and operated by Dave & Maggie Plahn, Nick, & Hanna Wassenaar. We also run a training program, "Auggie's Golden Point Training". Faith, Family, & of course pointing dogs are what we are most passionate about. God has blessed us with a talent and we have be

Another puppy send home in the books! These nine puppies have the best families and we have LOVED getting the updates on how it’s going.
Seems very quiet around here with June & Moon back to living the “normal life” without puppies!

Molly certainly was never “just a dog”, she was the nanny.
From grandkids to puppies, she took her role seriously. She corrected gently, watched closely, and loved deeply. Every puppy learned how to be a good dog by watching Molly first. She set the standard, and
every shorthair that came after her carries a little bit of her example.

She was kind in the purest way. Kind to every dog she met, every grandchild who needed a warm body to snuggle into, and every person who needed a steady presence. Molly just knew.

She was Head of Hospitality for clients, friends, and family alike. If you walked through the door, Molly greeted you as if you belonged—because in her mind, you did. No one was a stranger for long.

Molly never shared secrets. She listened without judgment and carried a retriever smile that could soften even the hardest day. She was a bandaid for all the broken-hearted moments life can throw our way, offering comfort without ever asking for anything in return.

Now the Golden Girls are reunited.
Mia and Molly are running free—no pain, no stiffness, no hitch in their giddy-ups. Just open fields, full hearts, and joy restored.

Rest easy, sweet Molly.

We had a fantastic puppy send home day for the June X Sven litter! Due to weather we had to have most come Saturday rather than Sunday but we made it work nonetheless! We will miss this bunch of pups!

Dont worry, you’ll see one pup still floating around in stories, as she is staying with us for the next 6 weeks for puppy obedience!

And here they are! The Moon x Sven puppies are the sweetest and cutest puppies! And they will be heading home just in time for Christmas! Even Santa knows there’s no better gift! 🐾🐾🎄🎄🎅
