So we had a great time in Ladysmith and I know I didn’t update this as I always plan. I opted not to go to Friday’s show, but here is most of our ribbons, wins, legs and new titles from Thursday, Saturday and Sunday!
Whiski:
4 Precision coursing DASH qualifying runs
Earned her DASH title
Two Total dogs (would have been 3 but I goofed)
6 Champion Class Conformation wins
2 Best of Breeds
2 Legs towards her Grand Champion (now has 3 of 5 needed)
A herding Group 1st and 2nd place
And topped it off with today’s Reserve Best Total Dog in Show!!!!!
Tequila:
1 Precision Coursing Steeple Chase qualifying run
4 Precision Coursing DASH runs
Earned her RUSH title
3 Total dogs
5 Grand champion wins
1 Reserve Grand Champion win
3 Best of Breeds
A herding Group 1st, 2nd and 4th
Earned 1/3 of a leg towards her Ruby GRCH

Tequila and Whiski had a good but hot day at Ladysmith UKC show. Tequila tried Steeple chase for the first time and got a qualifying run and then went on to win the Grand Champion class in Show 1 for a Total Dog Award. Whiski won the Champion class and then took Best of Breed and Group 2 in a very nice quality herding group in show 1. She now has her second leg towards her grand.
In the second show, Whiski won the champion class again and Tequila took Reserve Grand. No love in the breed ring.

Whiski won Reserve Champion in Friday and Saturday’s shows in Kalamazoo at Premier Nationals and Champion of Champion on Sunday for her first leg towards her Grand. She just turned a year old 10 days prior! I love this little spunky spitfire! She has a lot going for her and I can’t wait to see her future! Phenomenal photo Malinda Julien!!!

2024 Premier in the books!
Here are the results!
Wednesday: German Shepherd specialty put on by the Great Lakes German Shepherd Club. This was not our show to win anything, however, it did give my girls a show to get their wiggles out. Which turned out to be a win for us.
Thursday: Top Ten Competition for the 2023 Top Ten of each breed. Tequila received an Award of Excellence and we are very pleased.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday were all breed shows. Tequila was entered in all three in the Grand Champion class and Whiski competed in the Champion Class. Tequila won reserve Grand Champion in all three shows out of a class of 8. Whiski took Reserve Champion in Friday and Saturday and then won Champion on Sunday for her first Champion leg. Tequila also competed in DASH to qualify for Total Dog on Saturday Night. They must get qualifying runs in a performance event on Friday and then a placement in Conformation on Saturday. Over 200 dogs met the requirements for Total dog and those then all compete for Best Total Dog in Show.
Overall this was an awesome week with so many compliments and wins! The first three photos were take by Jen Thompson. Thanks Jen!

Today was Tequilas day! She took two Best of breeds and a GR 1 in show 2. That Group 1 gave her the last 1/2 a leg she needed to earn her Emerald Grand Champion! Next stop, Premier in June! A GSD specialty, Top Ten Invitational for 2023, and three all breed shows. 🤞🤞🤞 Oh and Precision Coursing DASH to try earn a Total Dog at Premier!!!!

Whiski showed up her big sister and took her first Best of Breed in show 2 today and went on to win 1st place in the very tough herding group! So proud of this squirrelly little girl! Her sister didn’t go home with nothing though, she took Best of Breed in show 1 and a Group 3 in the herding group.

Weekend of UKC shows in Minnesota! Super excited to bring all three 4-legged beverages to the show. Whiski, AKA fuzzball, in the class females, momma Vodka in the champion class, and Tequila in the Grand Champion class. Also, Tequila is entered in Precision Coursing - DASH. Send us some good vibes this weekend! We have some goals to achieve!!!!
