Edit; more wonderful news...Carmella, a dog thought deceased, the crate saved her life. Found the last dog!! Post in comments. This is Blue. Sadly, Blue lost his owner, one of "our own" in the dog show community, Patti Sontag, in the tornado that rolled through AR. Blue was the last of Patti's dogs to be located. sadly, a couple of her dogs were lost as well. BUT, this is also a teaching experience. imagine your dog lost and panicked. but CRATE TRAINED. when he could not be caught, running panicked, from people, his home, his owner, everything he knows is GONE & he went through all that horror... but he knows crates offer security, plus this live trap would be baited with food. Thankfully, knowing crates are secure, he went in and was caught. what a relief to everyone involved. pet owners, crate train your dogs, you never know when it will be needed, having to evacuate to a shelter, lost and needing caught. it never hurts, it also keeps them from chewing and eating things, that can kill them, when young, and you can't supervise! Thankful for small Blessings.
