The chlorinator arrived for our project to upgrade the well water filtration system now that we have so many animals and our water usage is increasing.

This beast injects chlorine into the water which instantly oxidizes the iron from a solution into particles, and does the same with the hydrogen sulphide that gives the "eggy" smell from wells.

Our new super size filter can then remove these and the net sum is that it happens much faster, and with a much higher throughput than the Domestic sized filters that use air oxidization.. ( the one we have can't cope)

In addition it kills bacteria, another important aspect for us...keeping us all safe.

Please note that you should not feed the animals with water from a well unless its been through a reverse osmosis drnking water system....and always use bottled filtered water for babies...

We have a large reverse osmosis system that produces water for the adult animals and this system ( the pre filtering ) will make doubly sure that it's safe
