Had lots of fun this weekend at the Motherlode Dairy Goat Association show. 1st place 4yo in both rings, 2nd and 3rd place for our 1yo milker and 9th of 17 in the yearling buckling class. Only a couple more shows and breeding season begins!

She is ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf Olliemae Farm TS Marimba "Mary" She was born 2023 and is a yearling first freshener currently in milk. She would make a great backyard milker as well. Comes from nice milking lines and she has a lot of potential. Pictures are as a junior kid last year. Udder pictures from last weekend. Great on the milk stand, super sweet and easy to handle.

This milk bar has exceded my expectations and I love that we don't wash bottles several times a day. I am only concerned about the warmer days that will be here before we know it. I don't want curdled milk in the lines. 🤢 We shall see how it goes!

Feels like kidding season is coming fast and tasks are getting done slower buuuut we got the new milk stand completed with pull out stools to save space. Just have to cut stall mats to fit! Ready to milk 2 at a time!

**** Update **** Moo has found her new home

MoneyPit Farms$$ MX Jasmine. We call her "Moo", she is a 2 year old first freshener that had triplets born 03/02/2023 with no assistance needed during kidding. She was a great mother and very attentive to her kids prior to them being pulled and put on bottles. She has sharp shoulders, straight legs, blue eyes, extremely soft dairy skin and great manners on the milk stand. Can be hand or machine milked. She doesn't quite have the udder capacity or fore udder extension we are looking for in our herd so she must find a new home. She would make a wonderful addition as a milker for someone's homestead.
