Beautiful Fall harvest this week.

Autumn is dynamite for produce in Southern California. While elsewhere the farms have begun to halt for the winter, (lucky us!) here our tomatoes still hang from the vine, cooler weather greens like arugula and lettuces are ready, broccoli and cauliflowers have been planted. You can expect some delicious varieties of winter squash before Thanksgiving.

We deliver once a week (Wednesdays only) for $35. We offer Organic produce grown by a collection of small farms in the Ojai Valley and the greater 805. Boxes are not customizable and we only deliver to Ojai at this time. Sorry y’all, we’re teeny tiny but that makes our stuff the freshest highest quality box of produce you can get delivered to your doorstep. The other good news is there is no monthly commitment so you never end up with too much kale. There is limited space on the list, please let us know by Sundays if you’d like to be on it. It’s easy, we contact you by text and you let us know if you want veg. Payment is made through Venmo, PayPal and Cash on Delivery. Rio Gozo Farm: Ojai Valley organic farmer John Fonteyn is heading a collaborative effort that includes produce from Steve Sprinkel of Rancho Del Pueblo Farm, Robert "B.D." Dautch of Earthtrine Farm and Romeo Coleman of Coleman Family Farm. Deliveries in the Ojai Valley are available weekly ($30) and biweekly ($60). To make arrangements, text Rio Gozo Farm at 805-272-5337 with the message "Hi, my name is .... my address is .... I would like to receive a vegetable delivery on ...." The farm will respond with details on payment and delivery to your own container (http://riogozofarm.com).

Hi all, people have been asking about home delivery of our veggies and we’re doing what we can to support our community during CA’s “Stay at Home” statewide order. Here are the current details of our home delivery program.

Rio Gozo Farm will be doing home deliveries of Ojai’s finest seasonal organic produce. This will include both items we grow ourselves and produce we collaborate in distributing from other farms and producers here in Ojai.
Weekly $30 or biweekly delivery $60 with no monthly commitment (this includes the fuel and labor surcharge). What you get is reliable deliveries of locally grown, safely handled and minimally processed vegetables delivered to your home for $30 each delivery payable in advance by Paypal, Venmo or cash/check accepted in an envelope upon delivery.
Our drivers will follow special safety protocol by wearing gloves when handling produce, having access to frequent hand washing and hand sanitizer, and taking their temperature before work and not working if sick. Sample box would be approximately 8 items varying weekly by what is seasonally available. We focus on the basics: head lettuces, bunches of spinach, kale, chard, celery, leeks, cilantro or dill, culinary herbs like oregano and a variety of citrus fruits. (Beacon coffee $18 available upon request)

If you live in Ojai Valley and would like to receive vegetable deliveries please text Rio Gozo Farm at 805-272-5337. “Hi my name is...my address is...I would like to receive a vegetable delivery on Wednesday or Saturday” We will confirm delivery and collect payment upon confirmation. After that we will text you weekly to confirm your next delivery. Deliveries will be made into your own container; please make sure bins are located on your property in a secure location without having to enter through gates (and have your dogs contained on delivery day.)
