Corrective shoeing on this big guy. After a good trim and hot fit a 2 degree wedge pad was added to correct the angle of the coffin bone. Releasing pressure off the tendons and sole.

Extra length in the foot especially in the toe area will cause pressure to the tendons and increase the possibly of injury, and the horse will be more likely to develop major hoof problems such as thrush or white line that could be easily treated if caught early. This is why it is very important to keep your horses and donkeys on a schedule.
