Maintenance Purchasing Specialist is responsible for assisting in the overall inventory control of Mountain Country Foods. The Purchasing Specialist must be efficient on the computer, able to work with the maintenance team, vendors and customers. Must understand accounts payable, receivables, and work closely with the accounting team. Hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-4pm but must be flexible with ability to work overtime and weekends.

Overall Responsibility: Assist in inventory control and disbursement
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Tracking of equipment, shipments, incoming deliveries and stock
2. Digitally managing inventory and creating inventory reports
3. Prevent shortages of supply or manage unexpected shortages; ordering as needed
4. Develop good working relationships with numerous vendors to negotiate pricing
5. Maintain organized maintenance shop/inventory
6. Filing product requisitions and orders
7. Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital data
8. Create, update and maintain supplier purchasing files that are complete with pricing
9. Assist maintenance technicians with issues and opportunities on parts
8. Follow SQF and GMP guidelines
9. Promote and maintain a safe work environment
10.Other duties as assigned

1. Ability to lift 50 pounds

3. Strong computer efficiency (Microsoft Office, Inventory Control Systems)
