Who do you think YOU are? Dreaming too big for what you're capable of. Yes, you. With your rusty old bumper pull, your $500 horse, and your 3 part time jobs...
You think you can visualize yourself running down that Thomas and Mack alley or competing in the NRCHA snaffle bit futurity? The arena where tears of victory are shed, next to the parking lot where gazillion dollar rigs are parked? You think the announcer would ever holler your name into the mic during a performance?
You know; your horse is too slow, your truck is too old, your funds are too low, your arena is too muddy, and your goals are too big.
Your family is too tired, your time is too limited, your work schedule too unforgiving, and your heart is too hopeful.
Who would ever think that YOU could be capable of reaching your dreams with a situation like YOURS?
Wait...I think I know a few people.
Scamper was from a feedlot. Fallon broke her neck. Vickie Carter was a 60 year old rookie. Sherry lost her husband. Taylor Jacob lost her home. And you are probably among them because you've lost your mind; thinking you CAN'T.
Because these women...lost it all too. They turned their can'ts into cans and dream into plans. They turned regrettable situations into remarkable recovery. They turned down barrels into darn buckles. They turned failure into freedom.
So who you do you think you are? Dreaming too big, with eyes too wide and a mind too imaginative. A champion?
Only if you want to be.
That's all it takes. To believe you can. After losing everything and feeling like you have nothing. Believing. YOU. can.
So go ahead girlfriend...I know what you are working with, and it's probably not a whole lot. But winners believe they can go big with what little they have. And losers think they can't because of how much they don't have.
Get on your horse. Study up. Saddle up. Cowgirl Up. Do you.
Because champions aren't born, and they aren't made by someone else. They just believe in themselves.
Sincerely,
Someone who knew you could do it the whole time!
