We’ve done Paint Silkies for a long time and needed a change. These are our 6 new chicks that we got today. They’re 4 days old Silver Deathlayers. We’re super excited to see them grow. 🥰

⭐️Well...that was fast. LOL ALL Spoken For!⭐️

Hey Folks! We have talked about it and we have decided to put our Showgirl Paint Silkie flock UFD (2 Hens and 1 Roo). All are healthy and laying good and the hens are just shy of 2 years old and the roo is about 6 months. We usually get about 1 (maybe 2) eggs a day for them. We hatched these hens ourselves so it was a hard decision but we are going to try our hand at another breed (TBD). This will be a perfect starter flock for someone wanting to get into Showgirl Paint Silkies or Silkies in general.

PM for details. Located in OKC near the fairgrounds. They must go together! I know there have been SEVERAL of you that have messaged us about getting full grown chickens and not chicks so this will be perfect for alot of you guys. This will be a First Come First Serve so get 'em while they're hot!

We post for our followers first to give y'all a chance at our birds first but we will eventually post to other groups after a short period so don't hesitate if you're interested.

To whom it may concern:

Too many times during a conversation about buying chicks, I have given the price of a chick and immediately everything stops. I just wanna clarify why we charge what we charge.

We don’t sell run of the mill chicks. These aren’t the “Bantam Mix Chicks” from the $5 bin at TSC and if that’s the price you’re expecting then TSC is probably where you should start. We bought these eggs from a quality breeder and hatched out this flock and grew them out and got rid of the less desirable chicks and waited months for them to lay eggs and then we collected those eggs and hatched them out so we could spread that quality across Oklahoma (and a couple of times in Texas). It’s been A LOT of work.

I’ve done a lot of research and asking around to make sure we’re charging a price that is reasonable. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again…I’m not out here trying to make my millions selling chicks…I’m just trying to make enough to pay for their care.

So please remember, when you’re so shocked about what we charge for our chicks (which is a lot less than what I have seen from other breeders for quality chicks), that there was a lot that went into bringing that chick into the world for you to inquire about it.

Hey Folks! We have some 4 Splash and 3 Blue Brahmas that were hatched on 03.10.2024 so they are just at 8 weeks old. All are straight run and eating, drinks and thriving outdoors in the chicken run so no heat or indoor living required.

Our first Narragansett Turkey chick hatched. I can’t wait until they are all hatched and out of the incubator so we can see their little cute selves. This is our first time hatching turkeys and I wish we could keep them all but our backyard isn’t big enough so they will be UFD at some point.
