Meet Cantaloupe! She’s been with us since opening Tulsa 🥹. She’s super sweet and playful. She is nine months old and would do well with another cat friend in the home. We had her sister Watermelon too but she was adopted already and we would love for Cantaloupe to go to a loving family as well.

Look who is back! 🥰 Mr. Pancakes is showing off his fit tum now that he has put weight back on and is feeling better. We’re going to continue monitoring him and he may alternate between the cafe and home with us, but you can count on him being at our OKC location for at least the next 10 days. He is the snuggliest guy and will love to burrow himself into your lap!

The look on his face tells us Theodore is feeling fabulous after his groom today! Regular grooming on a 6-8 week schedule is going to keep Theo silky smooth and comfortable, decrease shedding, and keep his top and undercoat clean and healthy. New friends 🥰 Such nice whiskers they have. Safe Haven Animal Rescue brought us these babies today and are bringing Beckett, Brandy, Bravo, Danielle, and Willow tomorrow morning!

After about a month of trying to get the courage to swap this old we**ie dog picture out for our collection of cute & classy cat art, we’ve accepted it will never happen. Just can’t do it. We bought all of these frames from an estate sale a while back, and can’t not feel the love the parents had for this little bun sized boy. So if you’re ever touring our cat boarding rooms and notice an out-of-place dog picture next to Mona Lisa holding a cat and cat-version American Gothic, now you know.

Our Tulsa boarding room cat television install is complete and Star could not be more pleased. While this was installed for your own cats while boarding with us, it turns out an unintended benefit is that the first room tv is visible from the Cat Lounge. We just love the environment we’ve created for the cafe kitties and boarding kitties! 🥰

Grooming day #1 was a great success! We were booked full and had some great kitties. Marvin and Jojo did so good. You’ll notice Gandalf, the massive and gorgeous maine c**n, does not have an “after” picture because he wasn’t feeling it today. Importantly, our groomer respected his body language and did not push him. We rescheduled for next weekend with a plan and some calming treats so we can provide a more comfortable experience for him. You can always trust that we will give your cat the same love and respect that we would give our own 💕

We’re accepting our first grooming clients on Saturday! 🥳 We’ve still got three spots left that can be booked through the link on our website Groom and Board page. Y’all please keep us in mind for any cat grooming or boarding needs. This is part of our strategy to balance the business and hopefully keep our doors open for more than a couple of great years, and your support in this will help greatly in continuing our mission. Note this service is only available at our larger Tulsa location, then if successful, is expected to be integrated into a future larger OKC location.

Our custom taiyaki maker plates have arrived at our Tulsa location! No more fish (tai). They’re cuter, much bigger, and we’ve made some recipe improvements. Reminder that we use mochi flour, so they’re chewier and gluten free. We would love to do this, boarding, and grooming in OKC as well, but space is our current limitation for at least a couple of years.
