Portions of northern and central OK have been upgraded to a HIGH RISK. This is where there will be a higher number of storms. Anyone under a risk needs to be prepared for very large hail, damaging winds & strong, long-track tornadoes.

This girl is nothing short of a complete miracle!!! Less than 24 hours ago she had a severed kidney and a ruptured uterus! 👂 listen to that purrrr! 🐱 ❤️

👀❤️🩹Yesterday we had a stray kitty brought in by a Good Samaritan badly injured! Shortly after the kitty arrived pain meds were given and we noticed something was terribly wrong!
On her x-rays we could see that she was pregnant and the kittens appeared separated from her uterus and inside her abdomen.
Angel Fund Okc was contacted and we went to emergency surgery!
🫶🏽This sweet girl who we have named Sutton has been through the worst 24 hours of her life.
With her stormy grey color we felt naming her after our favorite meteorologist was appropriate!
During her emergency surgery it was discovered that she had been shook so hard that her babies had severe injuries inside. Her uterus was ruptured, her kidney was severed, and her body wall was torn in several places. Dr. Jones and our preceptor Dr. Sparry spent hours in surgery saving little Suttons life!
This kiddo is a fighter!! She woke from anesthesia wanting to eat, purring, and making biscuits! She is the sweetest little miracle!
Sutton will be up for adoption soon! We will keep you posted!

This family has lost everything! Their home is completely gone. The family dogs were all placed safely in their kennels while the family sought shelter. After the tornado passed they were faced with the ultimate nightmare when they emerged from their storm shelter. Everything was gone including all 4 dogs! Two of the larger dogs returned shortly after the storm with minor scrapes and lacerations but little Bailey could not be found. Hours later she was found wet, scared, and badly broken sitting in a water filled ditch unable to use her rear legs. One panel of her kennel was located in the top of a tree nearby. All three other kennels have not been found. The small dog that was in the kennel with her was found unharmed.
Angel Fund OKC was contacted to help with the medical needs of sweet Bailey. She has been examined by our veterinarian at Woodlake Animal Hospital and it is determined that she has a broken pelvis, a few broken toes and multiple severe lacerations. She will need a plate on her pelvis to give her stability to walk again. The surgery can only be done by an orthopedic surgeon and will cost us anywhere between $3500-$4000. We are setting the goal at $5000 to help with medical care after her surgery. She currently does not have a home to go home to. We will work through her medical problems and get her back to her family as soon as possible. We desperately need your help with the tornadoes hitting back to back. We are starting to get more calls for people in need sweet Bailey is just the beginning.
if you can help in anyway, please do!!!!
Bailey’s family has provided us pictures so you can see the devastation their family is going through. Please keep them in their prayers and send healing thoughts towards Bailey’s care. We will keep you posted.
