We want to express our immense gratitude to everyone who gave to us over the past year. The support and generosity we received ensured we were there when a pet owner needed us. Because of so many amazing people who gave, hundreds of pets and their owners got a second chance.

Bella SPCA is not affiliated with any national group and does not receive funding from sources other than our incredible donors and grantors. A donation to our organization stays local and goes directly to ensure we are there when someone needs high-quality veterinary care for their pet. When you donate, you partner with our team to remove the financial barrier to veterinary medicine that many people face. Because of you, no one must choose between caring for themselves or their pet.

If your pets require special care or have medication requirements, it’s important to ensure that you have their prescription meds and any over-the-counter (OTC) medications that you might need during the holidays. Busy holiday schedules, vet closures, and reduced hours can make shopping for pet medications in-store or picking them up at the vet clinic or pharmacy challenging this time of year.

Titan came to us because he got into a fight with another dog and his owners were concerned that he had broken his foot or leg. They were able to pay some towards his treatment but knew it would be more than they could do alone so they applied and were approved for veterinary assistance for the portion that they couldn't cover. He is such a sweet boy but was understandably painful, so he got to take a little medicated nap while we examined him and took x-rays. He did have a break in his foot but it was in a place where it was not able to be splinted so we sent him home with pain medications and orders for lots of rest. We checked in with Titan's family and they said that he is still hopping around some but is getting better by the day. Donations to Bella SPCA ensure that we are able to continue to serve our community and the pets that they love.

Sweet Kali was beaten up by another dog but her owners were concerned about the cost of bringing her in. They knew that she needed to be seen as soon as possible so they reached out to us for veterinary assistance and were approved. Our hospital had an open appointment so we were able to get her in the same day! We looked at all of her wounds and she needed a few staples in her ear but she was a champ. We sent home antibiotics, pain medications, and a cone to help her wounds heal. She came back to see us this week to have her staples removed and everything looked perfect. We are so glad that she is doing well and wish her and her family the best!
